It's shocking that members of the rewards system, at platinum level, are not allowed in the club lounge at this hotel. That's what / who club lounges were invented for!! I was told at check in that you have to pay extra to have access to the club lounge, which is not like the rest of the Crowne Plaza chain of hotels, so why does this hotel have a different (and unfair) policy.
I could not sleep because the room was freezing cold, even though the heating had been on maximum for several hours. The heating unit was very noisy, did not get hot and the grill in the ceiling had been moved / opened like there had been some attempt to fix it. Therefore, as far as I'm concerned, the hotel had knowingly checked me into a room with a broken heater.
This hotel does not match the standard of the rest of the IHG hotels / brands. I stayed on a rewards night too and am therefore even more disappointed there was nothing special about the stay - what a waste of hard earned points.

it was good place to stay, but will need to consider alternative due to price increasing. Hotel has old infrastructure and does not offer any new since 2008.

Good hotel with good staff and service. Particularly like the Asian restaurant where the food is good and service really friendly making it a pleasurable experience. Trouble was the hard mattress, so hard it hurt to lie on my side and the pillow was like a sandbag. Need softer mattresses and a choice of pillows and this will be ideal airport hotel.
