Décor maybe a little dated but our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Food in restaurant was good too. Enjoyed our stay.

I would hope in the future booking that there is a remark line for guest to indicate the room type they required. Instead of to compromise a degrade of room type on arrival however complimentary b/f as a benefit.
Wifi is always a big headache on 6th floor. So usually we sitting in the lobby with other guest making phone calls.
Transportation is still convenient in district 6. Recommendable budgeting hotel for family visit above club floor.

There is much to say about the Crowne Plaza in Prague.
I stayed for three days (1.5 days for business and the rest weekend). Before arriving, the first thing that I organized was a pick up from the airport. While it may be a little more expensive than an airport taxi, but you know that they will not fool you (I do this in most non-English speaking countries). I arrived at the hotel and was greeted and recognized as a Platinum Elite member; check in was less than 5 min (even with the explanation of where we were). And here was the first problem – maybe it was my fault for not checking beforehand but we were very far (not walking distance at all) from the “old town.” A taxi ride was around $20. A few weeks ago I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel in Prague and it was a 5 minute walk from the town (this time it was full and no way of getting a place)! Another little problem was the gym, it's a sort of afterthought and rather dingy. The treadmill is as you walk in and put there because” they had to have one!” Also, on the weekends it opens only at 08:00am – a little bit late for the average person who trains daily. Also, you have to pay for the sauna which I think is a bit of a “no no.” If I had to find another complaint (a bit difficult though) it would be the quality of the TV. Mostly news (with a lot of static) – and as my room was large (no complaint here), and the TV very small (maybe 19“) – it was difficult to see from the bed.
On a positive note, the hotel is beautiful, architecturally magnificent from the pre-communist era. Breakfast, both in the “general dining area” and the Club Lounge was excellent (even for health freaks like me). The overall service was very good including the front desk and the breakfast area. The room was very large, clean and very pleasant with free internet (very fast) and many AC outlets (a small but important element for the business traveler). The Club Lounge serves a happy hour – (rather bare) but has drinks and chips all day long.
In short, a very nice hotel except for the distance from the town!
