My experience with the IHG hotels is in general very good. This hotel was an exception. Did not like the atmosphere nor the service.
If you are travelling through Malpensa, then it good be an option ....

the room was basically ok, but the water boiler and the dustbin was broken. (and it was notice by the staff)
There was no chance to turn off the AC - only by removing the keycard (ambient temperature 15°C - room temerature about 18°C)
The air in the room was very dry (due to the AC) and the windows were locked.
All in all I get 2 hours of sleep

Very good value for money when flying via Malpensa, but the hotel location is a little difficult to find.

The hotel shuttle bus was poorly signed with only a small sign on the front dash, nothing on the side of the bus. It would also have been helpful to include information about where to catch the bus in the reservation confirmation. As it was we had to ask many different people find out where the stop was.

For an airport convenient hotel, this was amazing.
We only stayed one night before an early flight out of Milan, as I imagine most guests do, and it was the nicest I have seen and stayed in, ever.

- The chain in my room had a broken handle
- Please inform or have some info at the airport as to where to catch the hotel shuttle bus to the hotel. The information people also did not know.
- I had a bad experience at the restaurant near your hotel - called Hotel Ristorante Cervo - they served me an undercooked food (pasta was undercooked) and I asked that it be further cooked. However the girl /server offered me another dish (simple spagetti and red sauce). When the bill came, they charged me for both dishes. The girl spoke very good english but when I questioned the charges, the manager came and threatened to call the police. The girl did not come out of the kitchen to clarify the situation. I would not recommend this restaurant to your quests anymore or at least warn them about it. In the US, if they take the dish back, that means, they will replace it - not charge me for an additional dish. Please send my complaint letter to the local authorities or at least to that restaurant that a guest has complained.

I stayed at this hotel Saturday 5th October, the instructions to the hotel on my confirmation where awful, I had to call from the airport and was 'talked' in by the receptionist.
Upon arrival after a very long day there was no room service available and nowhere within the local area to get any food.
There was only minimal milk/sugar etc and I had to call to get additional supplies.
The hotel is very new and bright and modern, but seems to have been built in an industrial area.
I have been using Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza for many years and will continue to do so but this was the worst experience I have ever had with IC Hotels

very close to the airport.
not so much laoud. and the shuttel buss to the airport is very easy.
good option if you leave from MXP Airport, and also if you wish can leave your car there for 15 days. (very nice option )
