Enjoyable stay

Stayed for 2 nights over a Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel is stylish, clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and efficient.
The location is ideal. Away from most of the noise and bustle but close enough to walk to many of London's best sights.
I will defiantly be returning in the future.

Excellent Hotel within walking distance to attractions

Hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I was able to walk to Big Ben (20 min), Buckingham Palace (35 min), and all the other important sites to see in London. I walked all over the city and found the hotel to be in a good location. The river was 1 block from the hotel and the underground (subway) was across the street. Many options to eat close by with a corner market on the next block.

Poor room

Unfortunately the room we were allocated was very poor and tired looking. An example of its tiredness was that a bedside lamp was missing. There was an oval mark where it had stood which they had tried to cover up with a cheap ornament.
The room had no window that you could see out of. Just a frosted glass panel. But the worst was that when we got back late the first night the air conditioning was so noisy it was enough to give you a headache. In addition it did not actually work to reduce the temperature! So we turned it off and had to spend the night is a room that was too hot with no available way to ventilate it. The following day they moved us when we complained. But as we were only staying two days it did spoil our stay. I would not recommend this hotel based on this experience.
