start of a good holiday

Nice easy check in good room with club lounge access not to happy about having to pay £24 for the upgrade as i am a platinum elite status but otherwise a good stay will use again next time i am in the area

Please accept our sincere apologies for your disappointment during your stay with regards to the IHG Rewards benefits. The Platinum Elite and Ambassador benefits remains the same as per IHG Rewards T&C's and an upgrade to a superior room still being offered based on availability in addition to the choice of welcome bonus points or a drink voucher and complimentary full english breakfast. I am very sorry that the recently implemented changes to the Club Room Product and Lounge access impacted your experience. The Club Lounge access is not part of the IHG Rewards and Ambassador benefits and a discounted upgrade rate is available at our property to all Platinums and Ambassador members who wish to upgrade upon arrival. This option is offered and explained on arrival which is discounted from £48 to £24. The feedback we receive from our valued guests, like you, enables us to target problem areas. Recent stay

I have stayed at the Crown Plaza Heathrow on a number of occassions and always had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately my last stay did not live up to expectat.
I was offer an upgrade on checking in, the reason given was that the hotel was not as busy as usual, I took the upgrade.

However room service was a disaster, two hour wait, cold badly prepared food.

The only place to stay when flying from Heathrow

Friendly staff. Clean comfortable hotel. Easy and secure low cost parking. I would never consider another hotel when flying in and out of Heathrow. It's nice to be recognized by the staff as a repeat visitor.
