Unprepared and understaffed.

To be such a beautiful hotel, we were sadly disappointed at the lack of service (because they didn't have staff) and the lack of food with three restaurants on site. We were there for a dance competition weekend with 100's of people. There were 2 bellman to help. We waited 45 min to get one of them to take our stuff up to our room. Our room had no heat. Our floors ice machine had been broken for months. We could not get a rollaway bed which we were told twice was on its way up to our room. Food was scarce. The coffee shop closed at 11:00 am and the restaurant that had a buffet ran out of food. An unfortunate and unpleasant stay. Room service quit serving at 11:00 pm yet our menu in our room said 1:00am. An overall bad experience.

Four-night Stay

My Room: I definitely enjoyed my king suite room, and the ambiance and room decor was stylish albeit simple. What I would have appreciated having in my room includes a hair blow dryer, a "Do Not Disturb/No Maid Service Needed" door hanger sign, a better television remote.

Common Areas: The staff was nice but at times seemed overwhelmed to the point of incompetence. I heard from a fellow conference goer that the kitchen was understaffed for one lunch hour I will example. Some of my colleagues sat for over an hour waiting for a meal that never actually came. To correct for this chaos, the kitchen served lunch buffet the following day to avoid another catastrophe. Still other patrons chose a quick meal across the street at the adjacent mall.

Food: Overall food quality in ingredients and flavor seemed average but never off the charts amazing. I will call it adequate.

Horrible Hotel

This hotel is under staffed and very outdated! We arrived for a convention with a large group of over 500 people arriving with in the same day. There was only 1 valet and he said not to give him your car because he would never get it back to you because they were so understaffed. He never helped with any luggage. Only 2 rolling luggage carts for the whole hotel and NO bellman. Check in did not give us the adjoining rooms as promised. One room did not even have a shower curtain. Room service was a joke! It was not available during the posted hours and when it did finally come after an hour and a half it was cold and disgusting. The restaurants were over crowded and expensive for horrible food. House keeping did not come until very late in the day. Staff was unfriendly and not willing to help with any problems or to make the stay better. I would NEVER stay here again!
