Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice staffs, woody managers The hotel is rather old, but the staffs are nice, Sichuan people, warm and hearty. The managers behaved very dogmatically, showing higher respect to their own rules and regulations, very smart excuse, than to their guests. 30 March 2013

The breakfast is second to none. I will check in once again on my next visit March 14th, 2013 and I look forward to it. 03 March 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Highly disappointed Whilst this is a perfect hotel for a night or two, it is just that. Do not stay here if your needs are anything more than a bed for the night. Me and my family came to this specific hotel because 1) they had an excellent buffet. And 2) they assured me that all rooms were interconnecting. Unfortunately, the lovely and well presented 'Flavors 2013 Spring' magazine neglects to mention that there are no buffets available for the entire month of February. In addition the only adjoining rooms that are available in the hotel belong to suites. I had two young children and so had no choice but to double our financial commitment late at night and re book a suite. The hotel were of no help whatsoever and seemed completely oblivious as to why I might need adjoining rooms. I have never experienced this lack of 'intelligence' in any hotel before. On the plus side, the suite and room were lovely. But certainly not good value. The staff need retraining. This is well below Crown Plaza standards. 01 March 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Aging hotel This hotel is about 5 years past due for a remodel. The rooms and facilities are showing great amounts of wear and it is difficult to consider this anywhere near a 5 star hotel, even for China standards. Check-ins take 2-3 times as long as any other hotel even with Club status and preprinted documents- staff just not very well trained. Because it was January there was only heat in the room and the window didn't open far enough to allow any air circulation. The room was around 27 degrees all night and housekeeping brought a desk fan in to try and cool things down to no avail. My next trip to Chengdu I will be staying somewhere else until this hotel has a major overhaul. 05 February 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 曾经辉煌,服务有待提高的酒店 据说酒店曾经在成都是屈指可数。酒店硬件虽然经过岁月洗礼有些陈旧,但和欧洲大多数IHG酒店相比还是非常富丽堂皇。 与硬件相比,更为让人大跌眼镜的是,夜床有时开有时不开,浴缸(只代表我住过的那间)即便关闭下水口也会漏水,要想泡浴必须不断打开注水龙头,很是浪费。卫生间绿色植物叶片焦黄没人修整或更换。刚洗完澡穿过的湿拖鞋,打扫房间也不更换,更不补充。白金会员同样没有欢迎水果。向大堂副理提出问题,大堂副理也只是爱理不理。通过微博@了酒店,才得到重视。但愿今后入住能有所改善。 28 November 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 1 Star quality rooms This is by far the worse Crowne Plaza that I have ever stayed in. In my business travel I usually stay at Crowne Plazas and this is my first time to Chengdu. The hotel lobby is nice and the staff is good like any Crowne Plaza. I was surprised when I went up to the club room. The room is outdated, smells and have very dirty carpet. The bed is hard and make noise. The AC makes noise. The bathtub did not drain well fills up during shower. The rooms is not worth they they are charging. I have stayed in 1 star hotels that are cleaner. 14 November 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Non-smoking room comfortable bed The beds were so cosy and comfortable that we all had a good night sleep after a long trip to Ya'an Panda Sanctuary. Thank God for the non-smoking room for those who are severely allergic to smoking in China. The food was excellent too! The location is great since we were in the center of town where all the action is. This is my second time staying at this hotel. 08 November 2012
