Why were they open?

07 August 2014

No lobby, no food services, elevators didn't work properly. Hotel should have closed during renovation and reservations directed elsewhere. I felt cheated. A thorough disappointment.

Spiders Everywhere! Hospital sirens nighlty!

05 August 2014

Well, this was my first trip to Chicago but I hate that I booked this hotel. First upon check-in I was not informed of the construction to the pool area, location of business center, and alternative site for fitness center. I found this all out after rumbling through the mayhem of the pool area. The sign for the alternative fitness center was located on the back door. Mind you, I didn't get off the elevator because I saw the broken concrete floors and tape for wet paint. I called the front desk and was told 'just walk through!' Wow!!! So I did. I hate that it was under construction because that floor had the best view of the Pier, and Sears Tower but as I was looking I started to see spiders on the window and of course I began looking around and they were above me and all sides inside and outside the window. I immediately left. Hospital sirens all night too. Downer for this trip!
