Airport Hotel

The Crowne Plaza is very near the airport and since I had a night to spend between flights this hotel was an excellent choice. I took the train to the hotel from the airport and the only problem was a lack of signage telling me how to get into the hotel. You will come in the back way and if you have never stayed here before you will not know that.
Check in was very fast and efficient. The clerk was extremely friendly and helpful.
The next morning I took the hotel shuttle back to the airport and it was excellent.
The room was very comfortable and big. I was told this was not an upgrade but it sure seemed like one. I was very satisified.
I would definitely stay here again.

Overall experience of hotel stay

By

In total the experience was very good, however we had two buffet evening meals and found the food to be of poor quality and not as fresh as expected from a hotel of this caliber.
The staff were very helpful especially the breakfast crew

convenient to airport and city

While there is nothing much to do in the neighborhood of the hotel itself (the whole district seems to be still under construction), it was equally convenient to take the metro or S-tog downtown to spend a day in the city and to get to the airport (using the free shuttle or also by train) at the end of the trip.
One small inconvenience was that despite being 5 minutes walk from both metro and train stations, the hotel grounds are practically hostile to walking in off the street with a roller bag in tow. You have to walk around to the back of the building and up a flight of stairs from the sidewalk to get to the lobby, despite the fact that the ground floor on side of the building that faces the street could easily have a gentle ramp to the sidewalk. Hopefully that issue will be corrected when construction is completed on the building next door, which seems to include a covered plaza between it and the hotel which one could pass through to get to the lobby entrance without going downhill at the end of the block and then up the stairs.
