Great hotel, great staff!

23 April 2015

We stayed at this location during a recent business trip. The front desk staff was fantastic. We had an issue with our room when we arrived, and Megan promptly gave us another room. Later that night, we experienced an issue with our AC. Again, Megan came to the rescue & sent up the repair man. He fixed it in just a few minutes. The lounge/bar area is very comfortable. The bartender, Rachel, was attentive & remembered our drinks by the 2nd night. The business center was handy, as was the gym.
Breakfast was good & fresh. Great visit. We would stay here again.

Hotel is slightly outdated in main areas but the rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable. My business stay was great and I would stay at this property again in the future.

Quiet was our most important requirement, and the hotel delivered

23 April 2015

We had previously stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Colorado Springs where we had an exceptional experience. That is why we chose the Crowne Plaza for our stay in Denver. The Denver facility was not as good as the one in Colorado Springs, but our request for a room in a silent atmosphere was met. We did not see signs stating that the floor we were assigned was a silent floor (as was the case in Colorado Springs), but it was quiet enough that we heard little noise. The beds were rather lumpy and broken down, but the room was clean enough. The drain in the bathtub was clogged, leaving us ankle-deep in water while showering. We had to ask twice at the front desk for this to be addressed during our five-night stay. Upon arrival, the 'fridge we had requested for our room was not there. We were told it would be brought up to our room. An hour later, we had to call the front desk and ask again for it to be brought, which it was that time. The breakfast buffet food offerings were tasty enough, but the service was inattentive. We watched our waiter busy gossiping at the podium while we waited for refills of coffee and juice and our plates stacked up at the table. The pool area was clean. The lobby is very beautiful and inviting. Overall, I would say it's a decent hotel, but again, we were expecting more based upon our superior previous experience at the Colorado Springs hotel.
