Service and Cleanliness

Very busy weekend at The Crowne Place Downtown Detroit Riverfront. The hotel was very understaffed, rooms not ready until 3 hours after check in, very dirty , understocked, and unattended coffee bar in lobby that ran out of coffee, milk, supplies, etc so they had to shut down on a Sunday morning. Valet Parking was a hassle and the Restaurant fell lower than our expectations from experiences at other hotels recently this past year. Would not be likely to stay at a Crowne Plaza after this experience.

-restaurant service was terrible, menus were impossible to read (looked like it was printed on an old ink jet printer)
