Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Great room with huge windows overlooking river. Location close to people mover - easy access to greektown and ball park. Bathroom shower stall (no tub) was not inviting. Clean but the drain was halfway off and reminded me of a shower gym. Everything else great! 16 September 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location We stayed downtown for the Monday Night Lions game. The hotel was about 7 blocks away. I did not realize that Crown Plaza had refinished the Ponch. The Ponch was always one of nicest in the city and I applaud Crown Plaza for remaking this jewel. 11 September 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by worked well for me The bathroom was extraordinarily small and difficult to manage. The pool and hot tub area are not easily accessible and very small. However, this stay did accomplish my business needs in the area. Hotel very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. 07 September 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Motor City Stay My overall experience at the Crowne Plaza Hotel was exceptional with a great hostility staff. I enjoyed my stay however, I had one low experience where I ask the cleaning lady to clean my room when I left that morning and discovered when I returned that it wasn't clean. I was a little upset because she stated that she would clean the room. Otherwise my overall experience was well worth the visit. 07 September 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and accommadations! Having stayed at the Hamilton Crown Plaza Hotel in Washington DC, we decided to stay at the Hamilton Crown Plaza in Detroit. Our expectations were high, as Ravi and Tawanda at the DC property always make the stay in DC exceptional. At check in, we were greeted by Bryant at the front desk. Bryant was friendly, professional and most accommodating. Bryant's attributes as a professional were mirrored by Dawn's during the morning shift. Dawn was able to handled some unruly children without the parents become defensive - truly an art in today's society. Lastly, the restaurant staff from the hostess to the waiters, were professional and attentive. Kudos to the Chef as well. The food on the buffet was tasty, plentiful and well presented. 05 September 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the Greatest in Customer Service I booked the hotel for my wedding. For the prep the day of and also for the night of with my newly minted husband. During the day, I ordered room service for myself and my bridesmaids. That didn't go so well. We had to call room service 3 different times because we kept finding out they messed up the orders or forgot essentials like syrup for the waffles. Then as were leaving to go to my wedding venue, I specifically tell maid service and a bus boy that was assisting us that I was coming back with my husband that night and would like the room cleaned for our arrival. I asked if I needed to call the front desk to request this and they said no, they would handle it. Needless to say after a fabulous wedding, came back to to an un clean room that was as I left it. These are small matters of course, but matters that were important to me. Other than that, I have no complaints about my stay. 03 September 2014
