My husband and I stayed for one night on 12 Sep 14 for our wedding anniversary. So pleased with hotel as it has a great location. Staff pleasant. Clean and comfortable beds. Really enjoyed our stay. Would certainly book this hotel again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

In need of renovation

I understand this hotel will shortly be sold, which perhaps explains the poor condition of the rooms, with stained and frayed carpets, marks on walls and damaged windows. Common parts of hotel look OK, but the rooms are long overdue for renovation. Underground car park is also too small for the size of hotel. On the plus side, the location is convenient for shops, bars and restaurants
