From the outside, the Inn looked pretty much what you'd expect--a utilitarian building to house business travellers. But once inside I was met with friendly staff and check-in was easy. Within[More]
minutes I was in my room. Very clean, spacious with a comfortable bed. My view was nothing to write home about but I was there for business, not pleasure. As there didn't seem to be much in the immediate area as far as dining went (and it was pouring rain) I ate in the hotel's "dining room". The menu is limited and a little on the pricey side. I ordered a chicken caesar salad which took 40 minutes to arrive, time to "enjoy" the banter of a group of men watching a boxing match on the large screen tv. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but overall, I'd give the Hotel a positive review. It was convenient to where I needed to be and I'd stay here again. [Less]

complaint was that I sent my husband down to get a bottle of water for room, vending machine does not dispense bottle of water so he bought from bar which cost £1.50. Rather expensive as we had been in a Holiday Inn in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago and they were offering bottles of water for £1 It is only a minor detail and would not stop us from staying again.
