Enjoyable Stay for Military Reunion

Stayed at the Dulles Airport Crowne Plaza with a group of folks enjoying a military organization reunion 5/7 – 5/10/15. The hotel is situated across the street from the World Gate complex so restaurants and theaters are nearby. Plenty of complimentary covered parking was available. The hotel provided a complimentary shuttle to/from Dulles Airport, Udvar Hazy Center, and Metro’s Silver Line Weihle Avenue station. The facilities were clean and comfortable and the staff was extremely accommodating. Did not have the opportunity to try the hotel’s restaurant (Houlihan’s), but heard no complaints from other guests. The room we stayed in was on the 5th floor, which was associated with the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage® program, and was nicely appointed. The premium bedding made for a restful night’s sleep. Our daughter used the indoor pool, which she loved. There were plenty of lounge chairs and tables around the perimeter of the pool so the parents could socialize while the kids swam. The staff did a great job of accommodating our organization in all respects. Definitely would recommend this hotel to others.

Best place to stay at Dulles

We stayed at this hotel prior to our trip to Africa and upon return. Upon return we arrived at 8:30 am after 25 hours of travel. The hotel was eager to allow us to check in early so that we could get a shower and some much needed sleep.
The room was clean, comfortable, and dark enough and quiet enough to sleep during the day.
The employees all seemed to enjoy their work. It was obvious that they wanted our stay to be great (It was!)
Any time we fly in or out of Dulles, we will stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dulles Airport!

Great Room, Small Caveats

The room was great, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.

The internet connection speed was really bad, but it was usable enough that I could bank, use facebook, and check e-mail. Streaming any A/V content was mostly out of the question.

The TV was in stretched 4:3 mode, and this was not something that I was able to change with the stripped down TV menu/settings. I ended up not watching any TV in the room, and instead used my laptop, which, due to the poor internet service, wasn't great.

These are fixable issues, though, and I would absolutely return to the hotel for the value.
