bad experience

Staff unfriendly, no crib, and no wiliness to help on that until I insisted, front desk suggested that I put my baby with me in bed. This unprofessional, and non of her business. Crib arrived 90 minutes after checking in, although I stopped by few hours earlier to make sure we get a crib once we are there.
We were offered a free breakfast for 2, it was the worst buffet I have seen in a hotel.
I would rate this hotel as a 2 or 2 and 1/2 stars only.

Feedback on Houston Crowne Plaze: poor/outdated facility

I just love the Holiday Inn and Express brand properties. However, the Crowne Plaza properties are dated and really in need of a refresh.
Also, wifi in this hotel room was really difficult.
We also did not have maid service on one night of our stay. I realize that I did leave the 'do not disturb' sign on my door. Perhaps a call from the housekeeping team might have offered me the option of having my room made up. This was a disappointment.

Hello cpf1, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that our hotel did not meet your expectations. We are an older hotel but are constantly making great changes. When a DND sign is on the door the housekeepers do not approach the room. There is signage available in the room that states if you need maid service to call and let us know. Great location and clean

Easy access to area attractions and business. Comfortable rooms. Did not fix AC problems after being reported. Room would not cool, stayed at 74 degrees. Had to sleep out of covers to keep from sweeting.
