The staff is excellent at this downtown hotel

This hotel is perfect if you want a great hotel centrally located. There are many restaraunts in the area and alot of entainers come to the area such as Cher and Paul mcCartney. I have stayed in this hotel for at least 6 months and have no complaints.
The only drawback is they only have an outdoor pool. If I owned the hotel , I would enclose the pool and have 100% occupancy on weekends in winter with the families visiting.

Great hotel with great service.

We were looing for a hotel close to the Midland theater. Looking for quality, comfort and good value. They were 3 for 3. Will be back if coming back to downtown Kansas City.

Unpleasant stay


December 15, 2014

Winter air blowing into room, had to plug up with blankets. Heater would only kick in at 72 degrees and then it was too hot, no comfortable temperature. Brought to the attention of hotel, but was not able to switch rooms due to hotel being full, and not given extra blankets. Was offered a coffee in lobby to make up for the discomfort. Mattress left my back stiff, was not comfortable. Overall not happy with the experience and will not choose to stay at Crowne Plaza in future.
