Hotel Highlights

Crowne Plaza Liverpool-John Lennon Airport's is Liverpool former Speke Airport, which dates back to 1933. Art Deco in design but now with a modern twist. Come and marvel at our vintage aircrafts out on the former apron, and hear the stories of when the Beatles famously landed here after conquering the music scene in USA back in 1965. The hotel is superb choice for leisure/corporate stays & events.

As platinum members we had an upgraded room for our two night stay.
First we wish to congratulate the new chef.
We had dinner the in the restaurant and the Mussels were top notch as were the main courses.
There was a small box on the bed purporting to contain two sleep enhancing dispensers.
It contained only one, and this had been used!
The following morning we left a message pointing this out for the chambermaid.
When we returned later that day the empty box was still there and no replacement.
The room service meal was a great disappointment.
The bread was not very fresh and neither were the tortilla chips.
.A sign in the room says
"Its the SMALL things that make the difference!"

Art Deco Masterpiece

January 23, 2015

I have stayed many times at this hotel over the past 4 years and it always puts a smile on my face, the art deco appearance of the exterior and interior is impressive, the staff are friendly and attentive, the rooms are large warm and clean, there is a large choice of drinks in the bar and the food is adequate if a little expensive

Convenient Location

January 22, 2015

I've stayed at this hotel on many occasions and the standard never seems to vary. You are always treated by the staff in a friendly and helpful manor.
The restaurant and bar served food is always good although the portion size is not large.
The breakfast selection is excellent and plentiful.

Fantastic service and the best afternoon teas

January 18, 2015

Stayed here for 2 nights as we travelled up from Hampshire to visit family. During our stay we arranged a surprise afternoon tea party for my partner's mother's 80th birthday. We booked the raised area of the restaurant for 20-30 people. It was laid up beautifully and when we arrived ordered afternoon teas, Prosecco and Champagne. we were served promptly and courteously by a waiter and waitress who stayed with us for the duration. The level of service was second to none and the food was lovely and presented beautifully on slate platters; sandwiches, mini cakes and tarts, enormous scones with jam and cream , all homemade. Our glasses were never empty and after we had been in the restaurant for one and a half hours, the staff set up a corner of the bar for us to retire to for more drinks and took through all our uneaten bits and piece of scones and cakes so we could continue there. There was never any rush or hurry to move us around. Everything was perfect; Couldn't have been better in any way. Thankyou so much for a fantastic experience; one that we would recommend unreservedly to anyone contemplating a party, or even just a simple afternoon tea. Great value and a great experience.
Our stay was, as usual really good too; A lovely room although for the first time in many stays, we didn't have a particularly good view from our window. A small point and we didn't spend much time looking out! 2 good night's sleep in a lovely room and fantastic service. What more could we ask for. Will be back very soon.
