Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff were good just not enough of them I was disappointed not to get an upgrade but none the less the room was comfortable and clean. My only issue with the hotel is there never seems enough staff at the bar. I've often had to wait for service. The staff that are there are great but I think they need more of them 14 February 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not the first time, cold shower in the morning ! unfortunately another stay, another cold shower, the older lady on reception thought it was quite funny, i use this for location only, as it's handy for where i need to be in liverpool, but desperately needs to upgrade wifi . . slow is not the word 02 February 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Sandard This Hotel has a very good feel about it. Having stayed before I am aware of the Car Park Policy of Free Parking. My room wa excellent. I find with all the Holiday Inn group that the free wifi is okay but at very low speed. I am not sure if Plat elite are meant to get a good free service but potenially this is the one area of improvement or perhaps clarification of what expectations should be. Overall a very good stay and would recommend a visit to the hotel 27 January 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Art Deco building From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome staff could not do enough for us. The room was clean and tidy with haidryer trouser press tea and coffee etc. Having spent many a happy time in my younger days watching planes with my dad it was wonderful to see the building still being used and not pulled down. Drinks were not cheap but no more than usual for hotels. The break fast was good. We didnt eat dinner as wed already booked to eat at Damons which is literally just down the drive so to say. Having said that others were eating lunch when we arrived and the food looked good. We would definately go again and would recommend it although maybe not to anyone with a very young family as it is very much an adult focused hotel. (Which for us was an advantage) 14 January 2014
