Overall a good stay and met my expectations. only issue and not the hotels responsibility but the previous occupant of the room had set a wake up alarm on the TV which went off at 6am. lesson learnt for me to check the Tv alarm!

Nice warm welcome from the lady on the front desk, but, again no upgrade as I should have had, no better rooms available apparently. Didn't check from the car park like I normally do so probably true (an@lly retentive doing this maybe but top tier loyalty card holder so i do expect this....). Choice of a complimentary drink or bonus loyalty points though which was very welcome.

This hotel is RIGHT on the Hanger Lane roundabout, to get in you drive past it and a small gap in the fence/hedge to your left is the entrance...please get a "Way In" sign erected!! Trying to get out it's either straight down the slip road to the M40 or play roundabout roulette to the other exits as the hotel exit is right on the junction! Hanger Lane tube station is about 100m from the hotel so very nicely placed, on numerous bus routes too.

Rooms standard CP and very comfortable. Club room lounge looked nice if your allowed in there. My room was 3rd floor at the rear and subject to a 6.25am wake up call from a delivery or rubbish collection lorry! Suspect a bit of road noise in those at the front so ask for a rear facing room.

Breakfast very nicely done and all food looked very fresh. Didn't like the sausage though and the black pudding only lightly cooked on one side only....but the bacon was superb! Worth mentioning the scrambled egg was perfect and not the normal dried up mess in some places. £17.50 for breakfast if not included in your room rate, my thoughts on this high price have been documented previously.... Bar was nice and even a decked terrace area for the summer months.Service pleasant and effective.

Car parking £12.50 a night. Only 80 spaces apparently but didn't seem to be an issue when I visited.

Check out smooth and quick. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Room at the back, top floors to avoid road noise at the front and any unwelcome deliveries early in...
