Excellent Location but services can be improved

By

The location of the hotel is just perfect which is close to museums and the best parks in London.

I'm happy, though, with the friendly and accommodating staff.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 days, arrived on 16th May at around 17:30, but we had to wait for the room for almost an hour because the room wasn't ready.

Finally we got the room. Missing 1 bathrobe in the room but it was delivered to us after asking for it.

Room no 407 is an adjoining room and the door to the connecting room is so thin that you could hear the noise from the guest at the other side. Unfortunately, the neighbor coughed frequently which kept me awake all night long. There had also been loud noise that penetrated into our room from other rooms in the level, which sounded like people having a party until the middle of the night. Without the noise the room could have been perfect. I asked to be transferred to a more quiet alternative and we were offered a loft, probably, the only one available at the time. We checked out from room 407 and moved to a 2 story room 105, Yes, it's quiet but there are other problem with it, too. The sleeping area in this room is squeezed to maximum to accommodate a small bathroom, the and a writing desk. My husband and I kept on bumping on each other when we move around. It's also inconveniently hot, airconditioning in the lower level is noisy. I am allergic to dust so we were not able to use the airconditioner in the sleeping area because of the dust coming out from the unit.
We ordered a package deal that included the dinner for 3 nights, but the deal did not include any drink, not even water... where do you get a dinner deal without a standard drink. However, I'm satisfied to be served with hot green tea every morning. I don't drink beverage at breakfast other than green tea.
