Work in Progress

The hotel common areas are going through renovations, so things look a bit old at the moment but hopefully will be revived. Beds are very comfortable. At times details in room cleanliness leave a little to be desired (all towels are not always replaced, found a few hairs in the tub when I checked in), but overall the experience is good.

Historic and Friendly

I feel lucky I chose this hotel as a business visitor from China, it's close to most of my business destinations: downtown, Santa Monica, and Hollywood.

The staff are friendly and the neighborhood is beautiful. The only negative thing that comes with the history of this hotel is the limited space it's offered.

Also, breakfast is complimentary for IHG Gold members, which I was not aware of when I booked, and I booked the pakcages w/ breakfast. Next time I'll be smarter.

I wish it could have an in-room pool though it should be pretty luxurious 100 years ago.

Liked this place anyone.
