We were allocated a disability room which was large
and comfortable with a nice bathroom bur rather antiquated method of confining the water to the shower area - Although the water drained away fairly quickly it left half the floor very wet near the basin area

We stayed here on a Legoland Holiday package. The service was friendly and the room exceptional.
My only gripe would be the rates if I wasn't on the Legoland package. £18.50 for breakfast!! I've had just as good for £5!
Other than that is recommend!

Really disappointed with my stay here I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel looked promising on paper but the service was poor definitely lets the crowne plaza brand down. I left feeling more stressed then when I arrived which kinda defeats the object of staying somewhere nice!
I don't think I would send my worst enemy there!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Leejane A great place to stay.
We planned a trip to Legoland windsor and after much deliberance decided to stay for the night at the Crowne Plaza Marlow.Although this was not the closest hotel to Legoland I chose it because it looked a bit nicer and it had 2 proper beds rather than a sofa bed for the kids.On arrival we were not disappointed. The desk service was very professional and friendly and once we managed to get the card to work in the door lock(my fault I am sure) we walked into a clean and comfy room with a lovely big bathroom. We all slept very well and were treated to an amazing buffet breakfast where nothing was too much trouble for the staff buzzing around.I am not sure how much a night for 4 would usually cost here but the the deal we got online for 2 days in Legoland +hotel was amazing value and we would not hesitate to book again at the Crowne Plaza next time we visit Legoland or anywhere else down there.

Stayed here one night with package to LEGOLAND. We found the staff on reception very helpful & polite. Check in was very quick & smooth. The welcome packs for the children were a lovely touch. Our family room was great, spacious & clean. We did wake up the following morning to no power in the room at all, but a call to reception resulted in staff member promptly coming to sort it out. Unfortunately they couldn't but moved us into another room straight away. The buffet breakfast was lovely & lots of choice. Overall we were really pleased with our stay here & would definitely stay again & also would recommend it to others!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by AWAUD Poor restaurant facilities
Overall comfort and ambience by the restaurant
A meal and atmosphere was ruined by poor restaurant management. An expensive meal was ruined by
An hours wait for main dish
Table layout was siniliar to Kentucky Fried no table cloth , iced water, condiments till requested
Children from other tables running wild with nappied bottoms all over seats.
Overall conclusion is this is an excellent "business location" but lacks the soft touch in bedrooms,ie full office desk was out of place.
Afraid it will not top my list

We had a great stay. Close to the town centre. Girl on reception friendly and helpful. There was so much to choose from at breakfast. Enjoyed using most of the facilities. I thought the bed was a bit soft at first, but its the best sleep ive had in a hotel. We would definitely recommend it and will stay again.

I booked two priority points nights to take my family to legoland. What a fabulous hotel service was awesome from the moment we checked in. Every member of staff would say hello. The senior management even took the time to chat to my son about his visit to legoland. The childrens zone and play area are great. Leisure facilities are adequate with the outside hot tub being the highlight. Overall a fabulous few days and will defiantly be using the hotel for business and family trips when in the area.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by iris63 OK but not worth the money
This hotel is aimed at younger couples and families. Very noisy around the pool and lake area From our point of view it was too far to walk into Marlow though claiming to be close to Marlow centre on website. Rooms are pretty comfortable though some of the furniture looked tired. Service at reception on check in was not good - no one available to take bags up to our rooms. We had dinner there and the food was very good but over-priced for quantities served. Breakfast was OK.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by hailz76 some attention to detail required
This was a reasonably priced stay although I only booked it on the strength of the other hotels in the chain which I have used world wide. I trust the crowne plaza brand and have always felt that quality, comfort, cost and attention to detail are the things that set this hotel apart from other brands.
Whilst the hotel sits in picturesque grounds and boasts an impressive gym, sanitation in the womens changing room (where one shower cubilcle floor was drenched in urine) and the build up of limescale around the taps was fairly off putting. looking past this, as I resolved to shower back in my room, I found that inside the health suite was a general lingering smell of the drains and wondered how the steam room was washed down (if ever) as there was no water outlet (as found in others) inside the room.
the swimming pool is generous in size but there is a distinct green mark running around the edge of it along the drains (perhaps this is where the smell was coming from) which when swimming is at eye level. This made me question the chmical balance of the pool and I had to get out. Of all the facilities the sauna seemed the newest addition and was really clean inside and comfortable. the view looking through the glass doo however onto the patio area was quite dismal as I could see the sliding doors needed a wipe down and all the paint around them was flaking off... over all I would rate this experience at possibly 4/10. sanitation in health suites is critical.
The room was spacious and very clean. there were however 3 of us staying and not one bath robe or slippers in the room. reception apologised for this but never actually delivered it to our room. in the morning we discovered when trying to make drinks we only had 2 cups and 1 biscuit between 3- again, attention to detail.
At breakfast a pot of just hot water was requested. I have to say I was unsuprised by this point in our stay when the water poured out a murky brown colour. I lifted the lid to find the remanance of coffee/ tea hardened to the inside of the pot - are the pots not cleaned after use?
on every count it is the attention to detail that lets this hotel down. It was an average stay but certainly not synonymous with the world famous crowne plaza standard.
we used this hotel for a visit to ascot so it served its purpose but I didn't get that feel good factor I usually get when I come to stay at the crowne plaza.

My daughter and I visited Crowne Plaza, Marlow as part of a Legoland package. Whilst it is a bit of a drive from Windsor, we felt it was well worth the journey.
The directions to the hotel were clear to follow and we had no difficulties finding it as we knew we were going through the industrial estate. The setting at the back was lovely for the children.
The staff were particularly lovely with the children and we wanted to really commend and compliment the (?Italian) restaurant manager for his delightful way of dealing with a slightly difficult moment we had with my younger grandson. The boys wrote very appreciative notes to go on your feedback board so we knew they had enjoyed themselves!
We shall definitely look to stay in a Crowne Plaza again.

I cannot fault this hotel, we had a wonderful weekend! The room was top quality, it was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The only tiny negative was that my pillow was lumpy but I still had a great night's sleep! I would absolutely return to this hotel, we hoped for a great weekend all round and we certainly had that at this hotel!

Stayed here for the Marlow Regatta weekend with the wife and kids. nice hotel, friendly staff and good amenities. Kids went swimming and played football in the garden. We had a few drinks in the garden on a lovely sunny day. Even a waiter slipping and spilling 2 pints of beer down my back, never seen so many camera phones so quickly, could not spoil the atmosphere. Found a nice area in the bar to watch the England v Italy game which was the only negative in the weekend.

Stayed here before dining at the Hand of Flowers
Warm welcome at reception, room nice and bed was enormous.
Leisure centre was okay although didn't eat breakfast as felt £14.50 the night before or £18.50 on the day was ridiculously expensive.
Overall a nice comfortable stay and value for money

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by silverfox58 very nice hotel with comfortable beds.
We have stayed here before and found the hotel very nice, the staff are friendly, the rooms are very well laid out, comfortable beds, I'm a very light sleeper so was placed on a "quiet" zone which was excellent and have blackout curtains.
The only gripe I would have is that the drinks are very expensive, also they will automatically charge you for a double unless you ask for a single, e.g. a G & T with a pint of beer was £16.00! plus you can get charged 12% gratuity, apart from that the hotel is excellent, would stay there again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by roy2 Big Mistake
After a long five hour road journey,I was pleased to finally reach our destination. However moments later I realised that I had made a big mistake .The welcome from a 4* listed hotel was very different to what I expected. At first I thought the noise in reception was coming from a party in a nearby venue . The whining and screeching resounded off the bare walls and marble floors with no furnishings. I tried to ignore the din while I checked in, far from relaxed. There was a delay to the computer system that had to be updated. It would take five minutes. In order to escape the noise I asked where else I could wait. The bar was suggested, but again more music. However the adjoining dinning room , empty at three in the afternoon ,was quiet. However we were immediately approached and told that even though we explained the situation, the staff were about to lay up for dinner. We retreated once more to the car park. Althought the hotel entrance is expansive their are no places to sit. We stood keeping an eye on the desk. Fifteen minutes after our arrival we approached the desk. Having been recognised as a Gold member I was asked if I would prefer to upgrade to a different room, one with an exrta large double bed. I found this surprising since the second person listed as guest was also male. Maybe it was attempt to show that Crown Plaza is gay friendly. I was amused at the offer but pointed out that I had requested two beds not one.
Our room was on the ground floor. The first thing I noticed was the door to a connecting room. I have in the past listened to many phone conversation and noise from loud televisions in rooms where such a door is installed. These rooms are fine for extended families . I had no wish to go back to the atmosphere in reception. Luckily the room next door was seemingly unoccupied , however the situation was unsettling. To be continued.. .....

This is a modern hotel which is just beginning to look tatty. Ripped and worn leather seating in restaurant and badly scratched TV cabinet in our room. I found the bed uncomfortable and did not sleep well. We had a seat by the window of the restaurant hoping for a view of the lake but got a view of a used function room with black plastic sack full of rubbish and used half full glasses etc. My wife's handbag slipped off her chair and picked up dirt and crumbs from the floor. When we looked down we could clearly see that the floor and white painted ledge had a sprinkling of crumbs and had not been cleaned. The starters and deserts were excellent but unfortunately we both chose fish and chips for our main course. This was not beer battered fresh fish as expected in a restaurant which has 2 AA rosettes but what looked and tasted like bulk frozen catering fare - as provided by transport cafes. Asked how our meal was, we accurately described the quality of the fish and chips and were refunded the cost of one serving. Breakfast was the usual keep warm buffet fare but with the welcome option of ordering eggs cooked to order. My wife's two cooked to order poached eggs were over cooked.
