Showing Its Age...

We planned a family mini-vacation and thought staying at the Crowne Plaza would put us right in the middle of Niagara Falls; it did. We got a sense that the Hotel and the area in general was a place thats best stories were told a long time ago. From the worn down, faded paint, and rust covered exteriors of the view from our window to the highly over priced 'everything' in the area; we wanted to leave.

Generally, we make the most of our vacations, and this was no exception. The staff was friendly and helpful. The proximity to the Falls for an evening stroll was convenient. And the Rainbow Room restaurant on the 10th floor was a highlight of our stay.

I can't recommend this hotel, unfortunately. The room was tight and there were little annoyances not worth mentioning... I guess we just expected more value for the high price we paid for our stay.

overall very good

The hotel is older but is well kept and has a lot of character. The pool and fitness area are a bit out of date but clean. The bed was very comfortable and I LOVED the "Sleep Kit". My only complaint is that the sleep products were not available for purchase. Overall, a good stay and we would stay there again.

Great location - not much else to offer

Very crowded with a youth conference that you should be advised of at time of booking. Very small rooms. Just an overall poor experience.

This was a nice hotel but not for the price. We stayed at a different hotel closer to the falls for much less and had a better room and it was more up-to-date.
