Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Are you kidding me? I am a platinum traveller on 3 hotel chains, and have never had this experience in staying literally 1,000 hotel night stays. I left 2 items at the hotel, and realizing so, I called to confirm with the hotel that they had them, which they did. I supplied prepaid Fedex number, address as requested by the hotel. 3 weeks and 5 phone calls later, I still didn't have my items. Thank God I finally got the manager on the phone to get the situation resolved. If this is how you treat your Platinum guests, I would hate to see how you treat your occasional travellers. 17 November 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Business Hotel in Panama City, Panama This is a great hotel in Panama! Very safe, very warm and welcoming. The staff is wonderful! The chef greets you every morning and evening and works round the clock to make sure you feel at home. The buffet has a different theme every night and is always fresh. I stayed two weeks for my first visit to Panama City, Panama at this hotel and will definately be back. The management staff is great and will see to your every need if you have any issues at all! This hotel is very safe and I met travelers from all over the world that stay here. I definately recommend this hotel as a women traveler on business by yourself you couldn't ask for a better experience. 11 October 2013

We had reserved 2 rooms for 5 people (4 adults, 1 12-year old) Our room was fine: our friends, although they did complain, had an air-conditioner that was stuck on high, so they had a choice of freezing or opening the window and roasting from the heat. They were told nothing could be done. Unfortunately, I did not understand this situation until after we left or I would certainly have complained. Overall, the staff was great, but this room (409) was certainly unacceptable. 10 October 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk staff is great On this my third trip to Panama I stayed once again at the Crowne Plaza. Front desk staff was most kind and acknowledged my platinum status. My room was ready when I arrived at 1000pm. My husband, who speaks English only, had lunch one day but was seated in a most inconvenient place, although there were other tables available. When he mentioned it to the waitress she did not seem to care. He was quite disappointed about the seating arrangement, however he did like the meal - Panama buffet on Tuesday. Saturday night was horrible. Our room faced the El Panama hotel where they had a party with fireworks, loud music and constant noise that began at 700pm and ended around 200am. Next time I go I will be sure to ask for a room facing the street, not the other hotels. I realize there is nothing that can be done about a loud party, but knowing what I know now, I will ask for a different room. The air conditioning is a bit noisy but the rooms are comfortable and spacious. I did not have shampoo for two days, even after I asked for it in advance, both by leaving a note in the room as well as by stopping by the front desk on my wayt out the door. 17 August 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The pastries and fruit were great This was my second stay at the Crowne Plaza in Panama. Not only did the front desk personnel remembered me by name, but they were most accommodating. I was not interested in the breakfast buffet and instead ordered from the menu. I asked for fruit and yogurt and granola and was served the best papaya and pineapple I have had in a long time. The next morning, the waitress remembered me and asked if I wanted the same combination. I had an early flight and the dinning room was closed. The front desk attendant asked me if I wanted coffee, I took some and told him it would be nice to have some pastry to go with it. He went to the kitchen and came back with a small basket with delicious pastry. What service! employees are always ready to assist! I will return to the Crowne Plaza in Panama every opportunity I have. 16 July 2013

In all instances the quality of service, the room comfort and the staff courtesy were impeccable.
