I'm something of a regular guest here and, as always, experience service of the very highest standard.
The location and facilities are excellent but it is the friendliness and positive attitude of the staff which makes the Crowne Plaza my hotel of choice when in Abu Dhabi.

Reception service is just great, very cooperative and welcoming.
Room upgraded to suite as I am platinum member :)
Food is great, specially the sea food night,
check out was great and fast, even the reception availed a car to Dubai with very competitive price

i especially liked the bar for is atmosphere on the friday night i was there, with a great live band.also the room are very nice and confortable.also the location is good, situated in the center of the city,it's conveniant to be able to go almost wherever you want.great hotel to be recommended.

I stay here for more than 25 nights throughout the year and just cannot fault anything with the location, facilities and, above all, the excellent staff. The Crowne Plaza just does everything so well.

To start with, I had stayed at this hotel for a period of 3 nights and was on a business trip.
When I checked in, I was expecting something to the level of other Crowne Plaza hotels across the world, but it was certainly not so. There was no issue with the staff as they were all very helpful in the smallest of my needs. They used to greet me very well at all times.
However, the condition of the corridor and the doors of the rooms gives a very negative feeling to the customers. They seem to be quite old and have unpolished surfaces.
The room was OK and so were the facilities within the room. As mentioned by other customers, the higher the floor, the better view as well as lesser the noise of the traffic.
Coming to indoor restaurants, The Kitchen where I was served daily breakfast was quite bad. Cho Gao restaurant is very nice (as mentioned by other customers) and easily the best restaurant available. Heroes bar is a nice hangout to drink and have a good time, but again nothing extraordinary. The place is too small to accommodate more number of people.
I would suggest this hotel to people who are looking for a budget hotel at a good location, but not for those who wish to experience facilities at the hotel itself.

I am of the opinion that the Crowne Plaza in Abu Dhabi is without doubt one of the best and most friendly hotels in the Middle East. Service is excellent in all aspects and I would recommend it to anyone.

We had some very nice and interesting days at abu dhabi-
we enjoyed the stay in the hotel- the pool lounge is very nice
in the afternoon when its hot in town- and very nice in the evening, lounge music water pipe smoking and the beautiful view over abu dhabi- we enjoyed our days in the crowne plaza very much

Great weekend Getaway! I highly recommend this place. Very clean rooms and awesome staff. The executive bar staff was splendid. This hotel has everything. 4 or 5 bars, 3 or 4 eateries, pool and really attentive staff and great food. Thanks guys, you Rock!

I've been staying at the Crowne Plaza in Hamdan Street for variable periods for about 18 months, and keep coming back. Despite the growing number of hotels in Abu Dhabi, the high level of service, the friendliness, personal attention, and comfort experienced keeps me returning. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable, no fuss and friendly stay in Abu Dhabi when on business or leisure.

I was in Abu Dhabi for business meeting. Your hotel charged me twice the rate per room per night during Formela 1 Race even though I have nothing to do with the race?
I have no choice but to agree and pay the extra unfair charges.

Since two years I'm leaving in Crowne Plaza Hotel, the staff are very friendly and are always available to help you. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Without hesitation I ill recommend this hotel.

When we visit Abu Dhabi we always stay here at the Crowne Plaza downtown due to it's location. But the Main reason we stay here is because of the Staff. Your Staff always makes us feel like we are the most important guests you have. I can't say enough about the Staff most are like family, we know them and they know us by name. They do eveything in their power to take care of our every need and requests. Whenever a business assoicate visits we do everything in our power to have them stay here. I want to especially want to single out the Breakfast and dinning staffs mostly in the Garden Resturant but also in all your resturants and cafes.
