Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room, very friendly staff The room was well appointed and clean, good bed and pillows. We were expecting a large balcony with table and chairs, but our room had a tiny Juliet style balcony which was pretty useless and was only used to walk out onto to test the temperature for the day. Apparently some rooms have large balconies but not sure if they need to be requested. The breakfast was adequate for what we needed and staff were great, good coffee. The Red Salt dinner was terrible, probably one of the worst meals for the high price we paid, and the order was wrong so we didn't really eat much of it. There are so many great restaurants close by that I could recommend there is no need to use Red Salt. The front desk staff were lovely and very accommodating. Overall our stay was good and we would stay there again. February 19, 2014

The disabled access rooms are the best I have come across and made looking after elderly parent's needs with better safely and ease. Unfortunately did not enjoy the room service pizza - was like a limp mountain bread base with topping. Needs to be improved. February 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic front desk & concierge I was welcomed with an offer of free late checkout until 2pm for being an IHG member. They offered to take my bag up, but I managed with a single bag. Breakfast until 11:30am on the weekend, perfect for a sleep in. Needed information on a masseuse which concierge provided. Later in the evening I was provided with a list of all the movies showing at the local cinema by concierge at my request. Room service adapted my meal orders without a problem. Bath heavenly, 14th floor room quiet and the room was spacious with a pleasant outlook, being a Deluxe King room. My sandwich was slightly overtoasted, this was the only fault of the hotel. The only thing that ruined my stay was the in-room masseuse, not owned or managed by the hotel, who has left me with constant pain and a pinched nerve in my shoulder. February 13, 2014

The restaurant provides top quality food, prepared expertly by friendly and obviously skilled staff. The cleaning staff forgot to make up our room one morning but it really didn't detract from the overall experience. February 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by daughters wedding Could not fault anything about these days staying here.Rooms all clean beds comfortable and something that most often isnt found in hotel stays, it was quiet at night, couldnt hear doors slamming, people moving around etc thru the night!! The staff were fantastic all day while we were getting ready for the wedding,checking constantly to see if we needed anything and also helping to get people involved to our rooms with the minimum of fuss. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by On a very hot day... I had just flown in from Canberra and the cab stopped outside the front door. I had bought presents, had plenty of baggage and was struggling a bit. The front of house man was inside the foyer looking at me and that is all he did. I got to reception and checked in with bags around me. Oonly then did the front of house guy ask if he could help with my baggage. I asked him to leave me alone having watched me struggle in he could now watch me struggle up. The bad start was only topped by the room. The window is hard pressed up against a multi story car park so in order to get changed you have to close the curtains - I'm no Adonis. Then you have to try and find the light switch . I found it but could only manage the "dimly lit cave" setting. I was in a hurry to make a date at the Exeter pub - quite a well known landmark in Adelaide. having showered and changed I rushed downstairs and asked for directions. the young gentleman behind the desk had no clue and started fumbling around in Yellow Pages. Eventually someone came who knew Adelaide, the Exeter is two blocks away. The place is OK though I have stayed in better Crowne Plaza hotels, the room was OK apart from the lighting but if the staff don't care then neither do I. I will not be back - possibly the best bit of good news I can dispense here. Michael February 4, 2014

Brilliant service from the member of staff who booked me in and the great value package meant I got Aus$ 50 credit and free Wifi by joining the IHG Club. Room and room service were very good also. The only thing that spoilt the weekend was watching England lose again in the One Day International February 3, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Crowne Plaza - Adelaide I arrived on a day where the tempertaure was well over 30 degrees celcius. The recepetion was welcoming as was check in. Despite the heat of the day and a corner room with glass on two sides the air conditioning had not been truned on which mean that the room took a considerable amount of time to cool down. Otherwise hotel enjoyable February 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, Great Staff We really enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza Adelaide where we stayed to watch the Tour Down Under and participate in the Bupa Challenge. The hotel provides a great base and with 15 or so of us from our riding group all staying in the same hotel, mostly with our partners the space in and around the hotel is great for this activity. All of the staff were amazing and very helpful and that is great when there are a lot of us wheeling bikes to and fro . through the entry foyer wearing our lycra and mixing with other bemused guests. A great stay and I cannot wait to come back for the event and experience next year. January 30, 2014

Close to the city centre and in walking distance to many local attractions. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Loved my spacious room on a high floor with great views, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel to everyone. January 28, 2014

Don't charge for movies, offer one or more movie channels. Breakfast was ok. I have just returned from travel in Europe and am comparing with accommodation there. January 25, 2014

Excellent staff who are very cooperative, friendly and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. We believe this may well be as a result of the leadership and management of Ayla, the Client Services Manager. She obviously inspires her staff by being an outstanding role model - always bubbly and efficient yet genuinely caring of others. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay I stayed 5 nights and it was overall a Great Stay - I took an overnight flight arriving on 26 Dec morning and the recep checked me in to a comfortable room - Free wifi was available for members, which was great - Computer terminals available for use at the Business Centre for free, thumbs up - guy at concierge tried his best when I approached for directions and recommendations on places to visit and dining options - Guy at recep was quick and ready with a smile when I asked for old newspapers - on one of the days, the housekeeper left a greeting note with his name. It gives a warm feeling as a guest in the hotel. - marketing personnel left a note in my room addressed to my name to invite reward members to a mingling session on a Wednesday. The note was a wonderful surprise which made me feel pleasured to be acknowledged as a guest of the hotel and a rewards member who returns to the IHG chain. However, the staff could haff been more careful to note that my stay did not cross over to a Wednesday and I could not have attended the networking session. - 2 things which the hotel could improve on 1) the water temperature of the shower was fluctuating from cold to hot to cold throughout 2) the mattress of the King size bed was the first I had encountered that every slight movement of the person on the other side of the bed could be felt by a heavy sleeper like myself. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and the staff showed no signs of impatience at the services they rendered. Remarkable effort. In addition, the recognition of a rewards member during this stay makes me feel valued as an ihg member and makes me more want to return to an ihg hotel during my next vacation. January 20, 2014
