COmfortable room and good value

Overall my experience was much better than previous one. The only glaring exception was the woman at the check in desk. Did not acknowledge my gold status in IHG rewards program. I had to ask for the bonus points at check in. Barely looked at me during the check in process. Gold status should have some reward. I stay at IHG hotels an average of 6 nights a month.

Convienient location, great staff.

The location was perfect for our business meetings and to go out and have dinner and a drink at night.

The staff was very friendly, especially the staff working breakfast.

Overall less than average and Customer Service was lacking.

I couldn't justify giving any category more than 2/5 rating with the exception of the room cleanliness.
1. I called Customer Service to move the set of drawers that holds the TV, because I wanted to plug in the coffee maker. as there were no other outlets available. I was told to plug it into the lamp on the bedside table. Seriously? I have never been to a hotel where the coffee make is plugged into the beside table. What angered me most was the lack of "service". There was no offer to come up and move the drawers for me. I even asked "So you're saying that I have to move the furniture myself because you won't send someone up here?" And the response was "If that's where you want to plug it in".
2. It was difficult to control the room temperature. It was either too cold or too warm. And every time I tried to adjust the temperature, the room fan would kick off and on and end up being too noisy to sleep. The bed might have been comfortable but I couldn't tell since the fan kept kicking off and on.
