Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unfriendly staff I stayed at this hotel twice over the past few months. The first time for 5 nights and last week for 4 nights. Both times I found most of the reception personnel courteous yet unfriendly. To get the proper answer to your inquiries is an ordeal, and there is no flexibility whatsoever. The reception area and halls are flooded with cigarette smoke and non-smokers have to either go outside for breath, or conduct their meetings in the guest rooms to avoid all the smoke. I think this hotel is over priced for the services they provide, while they insist on charging 2 JD for a local phone call. I eventually moved to the Holiday Inn-Amman where the staff, the services and the entire hotel was better and better priced. February 27, 2014

Suzanne and Ennas in the spa/gym were amazingly helpful and always friendly. If you stay in Crowne, make sure you pop into the pool area and say hi to Suzanne and Ennas. It has an excellent parking facilities, nicely decorated lobby, excellent restaurants and very comfortable and clean rooms. The hotel is extra clean and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this facility to every businessman seeking elegance and comfort in Amman. One issue that I would like the management to pay attention to is the hotel's dry cleaning facility. The cost is very high and the services interms of protecting the fabrics during the dry cleaning process is very poor. January 29, 2014

I has just travelled over 22 hours and was so tired. I had just checked in and settled into my room to sleep and then the jack hammering started. It was a nightmare. December 13, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What a disappointment. IHG really is the brand for me. But the Amman Crowne Plaza fell short in almost every aspect except helpfulness of front desk staff. They were kind and helpful. Room Toilet stopped working, did not flush. While another room was offered who wants to pack and move after being settled in. The Resturant on main floor with buffet had food that was crusty, no longer fresh. The Club Lounge, while nicely appointed, was a disappointment for breakfast. While there was a variety of food, none if it was labeled and staff could not tell me what items were (I have no idea was response which is exactly why I asked as I had no idea) Lastly, if my room was upgraded as a Platinum, I would hate to see normal room as it was nothing special. You need to take Crowne plaza label off this hotel unless it can come up to standard. Thank goodness I went to Crowne Plaza Dead Sea next day and it was all and more than I expected of IHG brand. Exec lounge is spacious and the food on offer is ok but gets a little boring after a few days. also drinks offered are restricted to only certain products. Although the local red wine is very good indeed. Gym is good but have to go outside to get to it. bar is nice with live music and good food. room service is also very good. November 20, 2013
