I had other choices to stay but I am a Crown Plaza fan and will always be. This was my first time here at this location and I will stay again. The staff was friendly, the rooms were roomy and of course the beds were perfect. For security, we had to slide our room key in order to reach my floor. I loved it. It was quiet and the buffett was quaint and always staffed. Not to mention the pool and hot tub as well as the gym. Great place.

Overall I like staying at this hotel as I stay here quite a bit. The rooms are nice, modern and clean the staff is good.
You can tell when it is busy because there is no water pressure in the morning and the water is lukewarm. I suspect they justify this as an environmentally friendly option somehow.
PS. Fix the other treadmill it's been at least two months.

Our family of five stay at this hotel exclusively in Anchorage. Have been doing so since it was built a few years ago. It has always been perfect, friendly staff, properly maintained indoor pool, clean and comfy rooms. It looks like the secret is out however, our last trip the place was packed, the pool was flush with swimmers, and the rooms are starting to show some wear. Will continue to stay here though. Love the Priority Club Rewards program. And the best part is that this Crowne Plaza is located in mid-town and thus makes it convenient to do what you have to without to much trouble.

I was charged for both my rewards points and my credit card for two nights at this hotel. I contacted customer service and the hotel did not return their requests to contact me twice. They refused to refund my money initially, later refunding only one and I had to deny the second charge to my credit card, which was then refunded by my credit card company. IHG customer service did nothing to correct the issue for either night when the hotel would not contact me. I guess being a Platinum member doesn't help.

This hotel has always exceeded expectations. I'm a Priority Club member and the only other hotel in Anchorage is the Holiday Inn Express. I'm not a big fan of the Express series, so naturally I gravitate toward Holiday Inn, Candlewood Suites and Crowne Plaza. Anyway, the staff here is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and neat...also rather large. Occasionally a problem arises when you're staying in a hotel...this last visit was an example of that. The manager took care of the situation promptly and much to my satisfaction. A+ guys...I'll be back!

This was our first time in Alaska and wanted to stay in a comfortable and easily located motel. This place is wonderful! It was easy to find and they offered a direct pickup from the airport. We appreciated this. The only drawback is the fact there is little choices to eat without driving a long distance. They did have a breakfast buffet in the adjoining building. So not too bad!! Pool, spa and other interest made this stay a great place to be! And the scenery was breathtaking!! Would recommend to stay again!!!
