Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ideal for short trips to D.C: The Hotel is close to Reagan Airport, but you don't hear the aircraft noises, so a good rest is easy. Rooms are clean an all the stuff looks new, staff is friendly and efficient. May 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Customer Service Very close to Metro and Reagan International Airport. Staff are very nice and Hotel Shuttle is very convenient to go to nearby places and to Airport. I would recommend this Hotel for tourists . May 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay here on every trip to the D.C. area I stay here every time I travel to the D.C. area. The staff always treats me very well and remembers me even when it has been several months since my last visit. Very hospitable all the way around. I have had excellent experience with the hotel recognizing my priority club status and enjoy the perks. The Potomac Bar & Grill is a nice atmosphere and the daily food specials are very reasonable and tasty! The rooms are fine and no issues at all with cleanliness or resupply of consumables. I also like the Starbucks being so handy, but that is just a bonus. The in house breakfasts are fine for me. As a priority club member you get the buffet for free, but if you want something off the menu you pay for it. Nothing wrong with that. They do swap out items like pancakes and french toast on different days. There is always plenty of staff making sure you have a full coffee and juice. The entire staff at the hotel is absolutely the best overall staff I have experienced at a hotel. May 8, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hit and Miss I have stayed at this property several times over the last month. As a Priority Club Gold member, I received a complimentary breakfast each day, and a complimentary drink for each stay. There is also a "manager's reception" on Wednesday nights (but I have not attended the reception). During each stay, I was on the 11th floor (Priority Club level) or 12th floor (Executive level). The rooms and hotel are standard for a full-service business hotel. However, some of the bathrooms (particularly the sink area) on the 12th floor are quite small. There is a lot of noise from the hallway that can be heard in the rooms. You can see that the doors do not go all the way to the floor. On one stay, I heard an argument in the hallway between a housekeeper and the housekeeping manager while I was trying to get ready. Also, there seems to be a lot of connecting rooms on the 11th floor -- noise from neighboring rooms is very audible. For example, during one stay, I could hear when the couple next door got up at 4:30 AM. They were not making excessive noise, but I could hear everything, including cell phone calls and conversations between. Also, you can hear the toilet flushing in the adjacent room. The reservation/room system is NOT accurate/up-to-date about which rooms are connecting. However, there seems to be a sheet of paper at the front desk that shows the actual rooms that connect. Unfortunately, not all desk agents know about this list, and when you ask for a non-connecting room, they check the computer system -- which is not accurate -- and may assign a connecting room. Another interesting thing is the thermostats. Most of the rooms I stayed in had an electronic thermostat on the wall that showed the actual temperature. During one stay on the Executive level, my room did not have a thermostat. Instead, you control the a/c or heat level from the unit itself, which is just "hi" and "low." At least it worked, but it does not regulate to a specific temperature. I ate breakfast in the restaurant (Veranda) several times. The restaurant offers a buffet, which has standard offerings, but without a lot of variety from day to day (daily: oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bread products, eggs, bacon/sausage; with one rotating option). I believe you can order from the menu. The morning staff at Veranda is very friendly and accommodating. When diners would complain about a buffet option being cold or old, the dining room staff would bring out something fresh from the kitchen directly to the diner. Housekeeping sometimes forgets to replace bathroom amenities/toiletries. There may be a shortage of bar soaps, because I rarely got new/fresh ones. I tip housekeeping daily, and on one night, I left a note next to the tip -- "please leave more soap." The tip was taken, but the housekeeper did not leave any new soaps. I think I finally got soap on my final stay, and the housekeeper did a pretty good job. May 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful service, comfortable room and bed and awesome staff This is my 2nd visit to this hotel. After a rocky start (it took an hour for the shuttle to come get me), I got checked in and I was even upgraded to a junior suite. The room was really nice and the staff was very friendly. The conference center was great. I will definitely be back! May 7, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 12,7 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being 0ver the top in service and facilities! Not my first stay at an Crown Plaza Inn. But the Title Line above says it all. Next time I find myself in needed of accommodations in the DC AOR you'll see me there again, for sure! May 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My recent stay I have stayed at this location 4 times now and it has gone down hill since the last time. Several of the employees did not want to help me. The bar staff was rather rude each time. I love the location, but the value of the room is not worth it, when I can go down the road for a better price and close to everything else. Got nothing as a priority club member (one breakfest and one drink) for a 5 night stay. April 25, 2013
