The hotel provided excellent svcs and the room were very clean and appointed. Front desk people were a great help to me in getting to and from the Honliday Inn in Crystal City. The food was excellent.

Not much to complain about other than the coffee pot being a little dirty. Only stayed one night here, but encountered no problems. Good restaurants within a 10-15 min walk.

It was our cherry blossom trip.
The hotel located in the area with a lot of great restaurants and a huge fashion shopping centre.
It is less than 15 minutes drive to the attractions like Tidal Basin, Fish Market, Capital, Washington monument ....... etc
The only bad thing is we need to pay $21 per day for parking.

As a flight attendant for 25 years, I know hotels. The Crowne Plaza is a fantastic place, where the staff is always friendly and helpful, the location is great, and who can beat the fact that there is a Starbucks in the hotel! It's always an enjoyable experience when I'm there, and I look forward to the next time I stay. This is definitely one of the better Crowne Plaza properties.

I stay at this property almost every time I am in the DC area since the location is easy in and out of DC and my company's office. I always get an excellent night’s sleep! The thing that stands out the most is the staff. They are so nice and helpful. It is the little extra things like when they see you walking down the hall and hit the elevator button to get one moving up to your floor. The Potomac Grill has great food, PC benefits seem to include a free breakfast. I do wish the breakfast had more variety, several years ago they used to have hot offerings that changed from day to day, but the buffet as is gets the job done to get you moving and the staff for breakfast is Excellent!!

Wonderful hotel - exceptionally nice and attentive staff - wish it were closer to the Metro.
Salmon in restaurant was not great - but, atmosphere was terrific!

the hotel is good, within walking distance of restaurants and shops, however I GOT VERY DISAPPOINTED, being a CLUB MEMBER I ALWAYS GET ASSIGNED A CLUB LEVEL ROOM,(Whenever club level is available) the hotel completed OMITTED to assign me one, when I should have, if not WHAT IS THE POINT ON HAVING THE LOYALTY PROGRAM? being so many other good hotels right next to the crown plaza ? POINTLESS ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS

The staff and service was good. I made reservations for a room w two standard beds, they gave me a room w 1 king sz bed and a sofa, that was my first complaint. They immediately fixed that problem. Second complaint was the $21/night parking fee's, this should have been included in the details. I did not know that I would have to be charged this. Third, the construction made getting to the hotel kind of confusing and its very tight. The rooms were also kind of snug. I was in a room full of women and the only mirrors were located in the bathroom or on the closet which made getting dressed & going out very time consuming. Other than that the hotel was alright. We did take advantage of the free shuttle, that was the only great thing. We also had dinner at the bar and grill, my food was terrible.

This hotel was very difficult to access. The parking is really tight and has limited space due to the construction. The rooms were clean but just average for the price. It is in a really good location and the staff were really nice.

I love this property. I have stayed at this property since it was a Holiday Inn back in the 80's. You would never know the property is as old as my career is long. And the current staff is just phenom!! From Mario to Chef Thomas to Michael, Lolita, and Abdul (the newest addition to bar operations) I can't compliment them enough on their attitude and constant attention to detail. I even know Carlos in maintenance and he always fixes any issue I might have within minutes of the discrepancy being reported. Even the van drivers are super in accommodating my request to be shuttled to and fro. Thanks Lewis and the others.
I love the remodeling and look forward to seeing how it will "light" up the bar. I look forward to my return trip and my home away from home.

I booked this property for the great rate they offered. The room was very comfortable, and the staff was very attentive. The free shuttle to the airport was wonderful, and a short taxi ride had us in downtown DC in no time! I will definetely stay here again!
I did not know there was suppossed to be any sort of recognition to club members? ( I did not receive such)

This location is excellant for easy driving or train to many locations. Both Blue and Yellow lines pass through a train station right behind the hotel. (1 block). I liked taking the 27 when driving west. Entry to a number of other major expressways all directions.
As long as they PROMISE not to raise the price, the roasted BBQ chicken with beans is great and the best deal on the menu. Those are not just beans. This is great. I could get it every day and again for dessert.
Right at the site is not elegant for a walk, but the area is safe and you can walk a number of directions and major sites are within very few train stops. At the train station there is an underground mall with great choices.
The breakfast buffet is good, well cooked eggs, great fruit, etc, but it is the same very day. I wish they would change out a couple of the items. Maybe a different salsa and different shredded cheese each day for the eggs. Maybe something special on Tuesday and Thursday. Just a little variety. And thanks for the great prunes. Enough said.
I liked the room layout for work. Not perfect, but better than average. It was easy to access power outlets. Refrigerator was a bit noisy.
Parking was very easy to use. Not the impossible spaces that are so common. You do want to know exactly which way you are going before you leave the lot because this is DC and in two minutes you are either heading one way or another.

This was not a pleasant experience. I had made this reservation as we always do, and indicated our Priority Club numbers. When I arrived without my husband, the person who checked me in was dismissive and checked me in NOT including our points number. She did not tell me she was doing this. When I asked, she said I can't check in and get priority point credits without my husband being present. As you will see, we have been frequent users, most times it is me alone since my husband does not travel for work and I do. There are two issues: (1) we should get priority points credit for this visit (#643818545) AND (2) the person who checked me in should be counseled about being rude and dismissive with guests.

The location of the CP DCA is excellent for traveling into the Capitol area. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. I always enjoys the greetings and smiles in the breakfast buffet. I don't normally eat dinner in teh Potomac Grill, but do to late nights working this time I did twice and each time was excellent quality of fodd and service.
I stay here 3 to 4 times a year and don't see why I wouldn't next time.

Walls are not sound proof and when your placed in a room next to the Ice and vending machines, as well as the elevators, it makes it difficult to get a good nights rest. Also, since a number of my team had the same accommandations I can only assume we were placed in these rooms due to the govenerment rate.
I am a frenquent traveler (Hilton Diamond status) and have a baseline to judge by and I would give this establishment average to poor.

We stayed four nights at this hotel which has excellent rooms, a large parking lot and if you need to travel by subway is just a few meters away. Actually loved the room and exceptional customer service, they were always very helpful and helped us with information about the area. Besides the airport shuttle service is a convenience for tourists, transport also took us to the nearest mall and you called to be picked up after shopping, an additional service that they give no cost.
If I were to go for sure I stay in the same hotel, excellent customer service.

1. noises because of works you should notice your customer in advance. 2. few newspaper at floor I could not get one.
3. I asked for power adapter (UE-USA), but it was not available.

The room was very nice and clean and quiet . The bed was so comfortable and I slept great usually on vacation I don't sleep well. My only complaint was the floor I was on the soda machine didn't work and I had to go up to the next floor to get a soda .

Most annoying. No fan in the small bathroom and unable to get real coffee in the morning before 7am unless you wanted to leave the hotel or brew weak bathroom "coffee".
My room was clean but like the bathroom, showed it's age.
Good location for my trip. I've stayed there before.
Staff was great.

Although things got off to a rough start (booked into a room that was already booked), the staff went out of their way to make things right. Very busy place on this weekend. Wait for the elevators was sometimes long but overall experience was great.

My stay at you hotel was excellent with good housekeeping and good food. Ifelt my vehicle was safe in your parking area and we were safe outside. It was also close to the underground mall and metro. Enjoyed our visit to DC very much.

The entire Hotel was clean and the rooms were terrific. Bathrooms a little small but when you are on the go, you only need to shower and fix your hair.
Everyone I spoke to had excellent manner and all were so polite and helped me with all of my needs.
I would definitely go back and stay there again and again.

The coffee pot in my room was a replacement to the existing maker and wasn't tall enough to trip the brew basket valve and allow the coffee to flow into the pot. I was able to fix it the problem by using the ballpoint pen provided in the room to wedge between the two to trip the valve,
One day the used towels on the hook on the back of the bathroom door were not removed from the room.
Another day, two used glasses were not removed eventhough they were replaced with new ones.
I would think housekeeping staff supervisor(s) would do spot checks on the staff to verify their performance.
Perhaps this wasn't done due to the Veterans Day holiday weekend short-staffing????
Overall, the hotel was comfortable but a different guest might think differently.

We were part of a reunion group that used this hotel.
The staff was so kind and helpful. We loved the van
service from the airport and to our tour bus stop.
The Metro is about a block away. We were able to walk
to shops and restaurants. We even walked to the Pentagon
(though some might say it was a very long walk).
The breakfast brunch was fast and delicious. Very nice
waitstaff. All of the food was great, as well.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
I would definitely stay here again.
