Very Nice Stay

Overall, I had a nice stay at the Crowne Plaza. The staff was very friendly and accommodating which means a lot to me. I thoroughly enjoyed the location of my room. The carpet is in need of some cleaning due to a few stains. There was no middle ground in terms of the room temperature (had to keep turning it down or up), there was a beer bottle and glass at the building A entrance door behind a pillar, and I was a little surprised to see construction. Not a big deal, I just didn't expect it.

Comfortable Bed

While staying in a King Suite we noticed that the bed was very comfortable. However, the first evening there was work and hammering until at least 1am. Then to find out the sliding glass door did not close properly so the second night the cold wind kept coming into the room making room uncomfortable. With the AC units being older and having to turn on and off locally at the unit and not being controlled from a wall it either got too hot or too cold in the room. While the hotel is doing renovations I expect some issues. But for a suite I expected more. With both restaurants moved the atmosphere was not what I had anticipated. The staff did their best to accommodate while dining but the atmosphere was just not what I was expecting when I got the room so overall my expectations were not met for a Crown Plaza Hotel and Suites.
