Pillows are Huge

Overall, the hotel staff was pleasant, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is the huge pillows provided for sleeping. We had a king bed that had four of these monsters. They were "unbendable". That being said, I would stay there again.

Pretty to see, service dreadful

They tried to put my unmarried friends into a single bed instead a room with 2 doubles because it was more convenient for the hotel and they told my friends there were no more rooms with 2 doubles, but when I made a point that my friends were unmarried amazingly they got the room that they had reserved originally. A member of our party tried to get a refrigerator for their room that we got for free but they were told would be 25 dollars to be delivered to the room even though those were supposed to be standard in the rooms. Eating in the hotel restaurant was a hopeless task, as a slicing mozzarella apparently takes 40 minutes when the server says that it'll be out in a jiffy, and then you find out the pre-made cheesecake is mostly sponge cake with cheesecake topping, which ruined our gluten intolerant friend's afternoon, and then they charged thirty dollars for a tiny salad and two mini desserts that arrived after our party left to go to a meeting with one person staying behind to get the food. They didn't get the names of everyone who was supposed to be in the room so when the key cards failed, none of us could get back into the room until our one person was brought out of a meeting to vouch for us. We couldn't go 12 hours without some fiasco. Horrendous.

I was assessed a $25 per night hold on my bank account for 'incidentals' that I was not made aware of before I gave them payment info. I know this is a relatively common practice, but in every previous instance I was informed beforehand. This caused several overdrafts on my bank account, so I am out an additional $60 due to the undisclosed account hold.
