Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by completely unprepared On arrival, despite the fact there were several porters available, no one offered to assist with luggage or anything. In fact, when I went in to register, one of them took my keys and disappeared, then I had to hunt him down to get them back to unload my OWN luggage and get it to the room. It took over an hour in the Bistro 55 to get our meal the first night, despite the fact that less than 10 people were in there. When we questioned the server, the response was , "I forgot". Completely unacceptable. Also, she could tell us nothing about the items on the menu. She was unfamiliar with the food choices. We were there for a conference, and for a hotel that boasts business service, this was the worst. Internet service was an extra charge. What's that about? Even low cost motels give you free internet access. Then, at lunch break, which was only an hour long, there was one person checking people out at the buffet. I stood in line for 45 min, ended up with cold soup and a piece of a salad for $12. The buffet was poorly planned, as it was a table about 6 ft long to try to accommodate a large conference crowd. The lettuce was in the center, forcing the line to double back on itself into other waiting customers in order to finish making the salads. I gave up. It was a complete mess. Since we only had an hour to eat, I ended up getting a go box and trying to eat, write, listen all at the same time. April 27, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Proceed with caution The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel is located within walking distance to many nice and delicious restaurants, a mall, and several shopping centers. It is even close to a MARTA depot. However, we had numerous problems. I was quoted a price since we were in a group, but was billed a higher price and was told there was nothing they could do about it. The room key would not open the door, even after engineering attempted to service it repeatedly. The staff seemed as if they did not know what they were doing and definitely had problems communicating with each other and us. The shower knob was not in good working order and would not make the water warm enough. It may have just been an off day for them, so I would definitely proceed with caution. April 26, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Older, but beautiful hotel with full service and great bedding The Ravinia's rooms are showing their age, but the public spaces are immaculate and picturesque. Perfect area in Atlanta, close enough to shopping and dining...out of the way of downtown. A few small glitches, safe in room didn't work. One blown light bulb. Most important was the service. I was awaked on my second night there by the next-door neighbors screaming and fighting in the corridor. Security not only promptly addressed the situation, but also came by several times during the night to check that the noise hadn't started up again. Due to the unpleasant experience mentioned above, I asked to be moved to another floor, as the guests that we being boisterous were going to be staying there the following night. Jeff at the front desk moved me to the club level to a room that was much more quiet. Overall a very good experience. Great for meetings and conferences April 26, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room Issues I frequently stay at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and customer focused as always. But this time the A/C in my room did not work, the light at the desk did not work and the toilet did not flush well. So I had a night where I did not sleep well..... April 23, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Staff Normally, when I check in I get greeted and welcome like totally awesome way with big smile and make me feel like most valuable guest. I didn't get even 10% of that when I checked in. Was disappointed with how I was served. It look though person who checked me in didn't really enjoyed their job. If this was restaurant than most probably I would leave most minimum tip and not likely go back. April 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Front desk was very nice sorry cant remember her name but very beautiful spirit.. April 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff, front desk customer service The establishment is simply amazing. The atomsphere was beautiful, however; the customer service was horrible. Some of staffs' attitude were deplorable. They were not a good representation of this establishment. Overall my experience was a good one. April 18, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff All staff showed a commitment to service. The toilet sinks and the drain in the tub were obviously clogged and slow to drain the elevators took considerably longer than they should have many times. April 18, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick Stay Just stayed 1 night; when I got there the computer systems were down, so I had to wait a short time to get my key and room. The staff did what they could to make things as perfect as possible. To make up for the wait they provided me with a coupon for a free breakfast the next morning, which was excellent. It would be nice if you didn't have to pay for internet access in the room; nothing like being nickle-and-dimed for that kind of thing at a nice hotel. April 17, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by VERY MEDIOCRE Housekeeping was very remiss in their duties. Some days, we didn't get enough towels. We only had the coffee packages 1 day out of our 4 day stay (although, one time they DID leave us a package of Decaf...but NO cups!). The toilet ran non-stop. The ice maker on the 9th floor did not work. The elevators are very, very slow - most mornings it took us 15-20 minutes to get an elevator. When it came time to check-out - we were told the computers were down, and they would call us regarding the amount they would be applying to our Visa card. It has been 7 days...and we still have not heard from them...I can only hope they don't over-charge us "in error". The rooms are dated and dreary. On a positive note, the exterior grounds are lovely. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mediocre - continued i forgot to mention...the computers were down when we checked out...so - we have NO IDEA what they charged us for our stay! April 13, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mediocre We stayed in room 905. The toilet runs non-stop. Housekeeping was negligent in providing coffee (sometimes none...sometimes only de-caf...and usually forgot to leave cups). In the mornings, it was virtually impossible to get an elevator going to the lobby (always full to capacity) April 13, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by What's with the elevators? This was probably my least favorite hotel experience in Atlanta a place that I have visited many times over the past 20 years. This property is in desperate need of major renovations for the common areas and the guest rooms. The color scheme is almost depressing and the elevators were absolutely dreadful. !5 to 20 minute waits from the 4th floor. The IHG brand of hotels must do much much better than this. April 12, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Dissatified I was very dissatisfied with hotel. When I booked the room I informed them that I was a Priority Club Member. I called ahead becausing i was moving hotels and to make sure i could check in, they said i could. When i arrived there was a wait, that was fine but they keep giving Other people rooms and not me. They said they did not know i was a Priority Club Memeber although i told them. then the rooms were the wrong kind and it was so late at night it was not worth fighting with them. I will stay somewhere eles next time i go to Atlanta April 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Girls' getaway I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. They were all very pleasant and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Great praise goes out to the housekeeping staff who recovered a bridal shower gift that had accidentally been left behind in the discard pile. Beautiful hotel. Remarkable employees! April 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reasonable value, great location for my needs All in all, this property is a good value and comfortable. The rooms are clean but they are a bit dated. I choose this hotel due to it's proximity to the IHG offices nearby. My one complaint is with the Bistro; the food is so-so and the service can be lacking at times. April 10, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BED's are in U shape, refrigirator with fungus inside it.....etc I am frequent traveler to Atlanta. this week i am staying in Crowne Plaza in Dunwoody. Beds are not comfortable they are like U shape. refrigerator in the room is with fungus inside. microwave is not working at all. ICE Cube machine on 9th floor where i stayed is not working no other alternatives. sometimes you don't get comfortable answers from front desk. April 9, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cleanliness I have been to many PeachState along with many other types of events. If I were to grade the hotel rooms as well as area where our booth was set-up you would get a .05 with 1 being the worst to 10 being great. We ask for the spider web to be removed that was over our booth starting Thrusday thru Sat evening it was never done and their was a everly large spider in the web up high. Their was web's on the wall in our room. April 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Service The hotel is a little tired for the money charged. Carpets are worn. The hotel housekeeping staff needs a lot of training. No two days did we get all of the items that should have been placed in the room. No bath towels one day, no hand towels and wash clothes another. No coffee in room three times in week. When housekeeping was called all was made correct. April 8, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not representative of Crowne Plaza! Desk staff was very dull and couldn't return a kind greeting or even a smile. Checked in on Wednesday evening, was not given anything to sign, computers wer "down". Checked out on Saturday, desk staff still surly, computers were still "down", no payment receipt was given, was prommised it would be emailed. I never received it. When I called the hotel two days later, they emailed me the bill, but on the day after I checked out, two room service charges and an extra night's stay were added. I asked about it and was told again that the computers were down! was promised that someone would call me back, no one ever did. I left two voice mails on the phone of who I was transferred to after I called again, neither call was returned. I called one more time and insisted on speaking to the manager. He was not available, but he did call me back. he assured me that the $116 worth of charges would be credited back, but as of this writing, they have not been. April 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location The hotel is a great location for traveling in and around Atlanta. The staff made us feel at home. The free parking is a big plus for the Atlanta area. April 5, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Potential Bad Situation Averted by Front Desk Staff First room I was given had been smoked in. I am highly allergic to tobacco smoke. With some urging on my part, the front desk staff found me a new room which was not smoked in. They also furnished me free breakfast buffet cards for the entire stay. That was nice. Thank you. Other staff members were not friendly and did not go out of their way to speak to me unless spoken to first. Just not the kind of service I have come to expect from this hotel. Usually, everyone is much more friendly. There just seemed to be a sense of anxiety on the staffs part. April 5, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific pool and outdoor walk I found this to be a very clean and enjoyable home away from home. Even though it is a little early in the season for garden walks most places, it was beautiful at the hotel. I was only with two of my young grandchilren, but a group of twenty could easily enjoy the walk in the garden with the streams and patios. April 5, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Some Issues With the computer system down, we never got a final bill. We were told we would be emailed a final bill. Here it is 5 days after we checked out....still no final bill or statement sent to us. I'll have to dispute the charges on my charge card until I see a final bill from the hotel. April 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel and great location We attend the Springtime In Atlanta Coca Cola convention each year that is held at this facility. This must be our 20th year I think. The hotel is just perfect. Perfect location, easy off/easy on the interstate, perfect customer care, They cater to our every need. The front desk personnel are very courteous and friendly. If we had any reason to travel from Virginia to Georgia, other than attenfing the convention, I would consider staying at this hotel. But we only come for the convention and I look forward to attending each year. April 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay Hotel was clean and comfortable. I wouldn't lower my scoring but the elevators were down (2 of 4) and then the systems were down and I have yet to receive a copy of my bill. I have left a phone message and an email and have not heard back on that. However, overall I really enjoyed the stay. April 4, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Property Is just that one need for a bussines travel. I surely come back to this hotel if I had the opportunity. The only thing I would like you to improve is people kindness over all, not one in particular. April 3, 2013
