Awesome Hotel with Great Staff

In town for the Music Festival. Hotel was perfect location to Marta and access to Piedmont Park. Staff was great from beginning to end. Parking was a snap and I found my room to be more than comfortable. Had a great visit and time.

Dirty hotel rooms, loud highway, lipstick on my glass, and ambulances!

What can I say that is positive about this hotel? Not much. We had a conference here so I was "forced" to stay here. Upon arrival, the experience was foreshadowed. First I was put in a room on the 12th floor - directly overlooking the loud highway. And to top it off, there was a balcony with dripping water in the background. I got moved immediately to the 20th floor. Thought this would be better to get away from the highway noise. Not so. But what could I do? This is almost the top of the hotel (there are 25th floors). So I settled in. I tried to order room service --- a problem, apparently since the phone on the desk did not have a cord connecting the receiver to the phone base. Thank goodness there was a backup phone on the nightstand. Throughout my stay, I had the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in. The bed skirt was filthy, there was dust on the light fixtures around the bathroom mirror. The bath tub did not drain normally and left me with water up to my ankles by the time I finished my shower. I had to call housekeeping to actually come clean my room 2 evenings in a row. And to top it off, I ordered room service the last evening and got a glass with lipstick residue. Of course, no one answered when I called 0, the front desk and room service. A disgusting hotel! Oh! and it's convenient if you want/need to go to Emory Hospital - however, if you want to sleep and NOT hear ambulances coming to/from the ER located right outside your window, good luck! What a terrible hotel.

Less than expected

While the staff and service were nice, the hotel is in dire need of updates. The carpeting is filthy and at times I could smell mold. Ick.

It's a shame because the views from the top floor meeting rooms are quite lovely and with renovation, the hotel could be topnotch. I hope it gets the attention it needs.

Very unprofessional staff except for the cleaning staff. Valet is a complete rip off — they park your car in the self parking lot and take 30-40mins to bring your car around, even on a slow day.
