Breakfast buffet offered good choices for guests watching their diet, and those that weren't. Restaurant menu offered enough choices to please everyone and bar service was great too! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty Room and noisy heating unit Found a poker chip from Las Vegas next to the bed floor on the floor . The heating unit rattled so bad that every time it cycled on it sounded as if it was going to fall off the wall. The worst stay I have ever had at a Crowne Plaza. It's full service, has a decent restaurant, real breakfast and by far the friendliest staff. The only time I deviate is if I'm attending meetings hosted in another hotel or if I'm traveling with my family (then I opt for one of the all suites hotels for the kitchen / extra space). I asked for a king room with a tub in it by email after I made the reservations because my lady loves a good bath. The Sales Dept. Manager took great care of us and reserved a king room with a tub without hesitation. I mean within a half hour of me sending the email!! Fantastic!!! When we checked in they actually upgraded us to a king room with a jacuzzi in it. The room was huge and the jacuzzi was fantastic!! We recommend this hotel to everyone that we know and will continue to. We won't stay anywhere else in the Detroit area! EVER!! Great service...Great restaurant...Great room...Great facility...Great staff!!!!! January 4, 2013

The only thing I would say that would be an upgrade to the hotel would be fans in the bathrooms, higher toilets and tubs. It was a great weekend. We loved the pkg. that we had which included the breakfast buffet. That was a real treat! The chef really did an awesome job on the scrambled eggs....normally at a buffet, they are overcooked, dry or powdered...these were cooked to perfection! I would reccomend the hotel. This was our 21 yr. anniversary. We have a disabled son, and we do not get to do this often, so it was a great overall experience! Thanks! December 7, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Don't do breakfast buffet! Hotel was good. Typical rooms, bed, tv. Could use a fridge. Pool was very warm and hot tub was good. Breakfast at the adjoined restaurant however, worst buffet ever!! Had to clear our own table, all tables were full of dirty dishes and food was way below standard, not impressed. I normally don't take the time to write a review but I just had to say something about the breakfast December 7, 2012
