Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel near to Beijing Capital Airport This was my 3rd visit to Beijing and stayed all 3 times at the Crowne Plaza. The shuttle bus was prompt. You need to call the hotel to schedule a pick up. The rooms are fantastic. Spacious, clean, well lighted. Tower-1 is the best. The breakfast and dinner buffet was awesome. Lot of choices to cater to any taste! The only downside is the hours of operation for fitness center. They need to consider the timings. Say 5.00 AM to 11.00 PM December 3, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 最差,没有之一。 这是我住过的最差的皇冠假日酒店,没有之一。 这也是我住过的最差的连锁五星级酒店,没有之一。 客房设施陈旧,淋浴忽冷忽冷。反映给工程部修了之后还是老样子,换了房间还是老样子,同事说他们的房间也是这样,看来是整个酒店房间的通病。 关于网络收费的诉求,当值经理答应第二天中午12点之前给我回电话答复,接过是过了13点半也没有来电还要我打过去询问。换班的经理说昨天当值的今天休息了,这个事情他知道,但是上午很忙就没来得及打电话,要我现在过去找他。那OK。我过去找你,可你前台还剩下两个女孩子空着可以帮客人办入住,为什么你要去帮人家办入住而把我晾一边让我等了将近十五分钟??!行,我等,看你能晾我多久,完事了一句抱歉久等的话也没有,说话还不看着我,左顾右盼的你懂尊重客人么?!需要这么高高在上么?! 襄阳万达皇冠假日和深圳龙岗皇冠假日给我留下的好印象基本被北京临空给毁掉了。还是喜达屋和希尔顿懂得尊重人! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 最差皇冠假日,没有之一 这是我住过的最差的皇冠假日酒店,没有之一。 这也是我住过的最差的连锁五星级酒店,没有之一。 客房设施陈旧,淋浴忽冷忽冷。卫生间门框底部木头都烂了。 客房送餐不厚道,59元的水果拼盘居然只有两片哈密瓜,两片西瓜,两片火龙果。之前住中山永安新城皇冠假日,48元的水果拼盘整整一大盘子,是它的整整5倍吧。这差距是不是大了点?帝都消费水平高? 我记得我上次入住叫餐的水果拼盘也没那么小吧?随便那家皇冠假日的拼盘也没那么小。 前台一如既往的面无表情,好像我欠她钱一样。退房时候我上去打招呼,小姐麻烦你退房。一句寒暄的礼貌语都没有。只是接过房卡开始打水单。你起码应一句啊! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Crown Plaza Beijing Airport lives up to standards, needs better towels This is an excellent hotel. The only 'fly in the ointment' is that the bathroom towels are extremely old and tired; the quality of these towels do not represent the hotel well at all. These towels should have been trashed 2 years ago. For a top rated hotel with this brand name, the manager should have been slapped for being so cheap with the towels. Ruins it for all the other folks who worked so hard in providing excellent guest services. November 7, 2013

Room was comfortable and clean, shuttle back at 4.00am was on time. Would stay again if stopping over for one night at Beijing. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Rooms but not services I have stayed in this hotel for several times, mainly arriving in late night and leaving in the morning. Frankly speaking, the room is quite comfortable. I have also been upgraded to a suite a few nights as a platinum member. However, during the short stays (normally < 10 hours), I am able to find so many things that needs improvement: 1. The shuttle bus is not always on time. 2. When departure, the driver does not look carefully for guests that may be just a few meters away.3. The driver makes phone call during the short trip and sometimes exceeds speed limit at night. 4. Nobody answers incoming calls at the front desk. 5. The front desk does not properly greets IHG members. 6. The front desk does not pay attention to the order of arriving guest. 7. Once, there is a big piece of dirt on the shower towel. Of course, some mistakes are not always bad. For example, I had breakfast twice at the restaurant and the charges were not included in the final bills. The receptionists do not seem to be well trained. October 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great upgrade I have always used this hotel since it opened whenever I need to work at the local international exhibit centre. Not once have I ever been disappointed. As a platinum member I have always enjoyed the upgrades but this time around my room was exceptional. Just wish I was there longer to truly appreciate it. Staff as always were very polite and helpful.........for me this is a primary reason for staying at IHG hotels. Service and courtesy are something I value and something that the Crown Plaza Beijing International Airport always deliver. My only niggle was that the priority check in checkout counter seems to have vanished ?? This was a momentary issue as I had to pay my bill and get the shuttle. Concierge however was quick to respond and held the shuttle for a couple of minutes so that i did not need to wait an extra 30 minutes for the next one. However I did not feel so good about the delay caused for other guests even if it was a mere 3 minutes total. October 24, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Layover Hotel near BCIA I stayed one night after weeklong interior China visit prior to catching AM flight back to US. Easily arranged BCIA shuttle pickup and confirmation via email. Be aware that hotel is not exactly 'at the airport' but about a 20 min shuttle ride away. At check-in, staff did not know about IHG Ambassador membership. As IHG Gold member, I was given a coupon for complimentary beer, wine or drink. However, the restaurant would only honor this for Tsing Tao beer, not wine. The room was western sized and bed super comfy. Bath was clean and modern. Nicely equipped gym for a good workout prior to flying out. Buffet breakfast was decent but overpriced. September 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ideal for transit flyers I wanted to meet for dinner a friend who lives nearby, and this hotel was ideal: near the airport, clean, comfortable, with helpful staff. My only quibble was the hotel shuttle. The reservation confirmation indicated there was a shuttle but said it was necessary to phone reception for the details.This was a gate number and times: why can these not be on the website and confirmation? When I arrived at the gate, an empty shuttle bus was waiting with its door open. I moved in my very heavy luggage but soon was told I had to get off because the bus was reserved for a flight crew. I refused, as their luggage was already surrounding my suitcase. This situation should be avoided in future, not least by closing the shuttle bus door and putting up a sign. it was a bad start to an otherwise pleasant experience. September 8, 2013

It's quiet and there's a free shuttle outside door #5 that takes you to the hotel every half hour. The English level and courtesy of the staff was superb. August 27, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice upgrade to suite, short but very nice stay! Compared with Intercontinental in Dalian this crown plaza gets a 9/10 while intercontinental 4/10.!!! In Beijin I recieved nice upgrade due to my platinum card and recognition. In Intercontinental nothing at all, so next time no more Intercontinental, only crown plaza!!! August 5, 2013

However the concierge boys are very nice and helpful. I appreciated that. The hotel is quite far from the airport but the shuttle bus is okay to take. August 4, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quick stopover Although this was a quick stopover - on;y 13 hours in the hotel - thought it would be worthwhile staying on the exec floor - unfortunately when we arrived "happy hour" had just finished - stops ar 7.30pm. Usually they will check you out the following morning while you're having breakfast, unfortunately the staff on the exec floor were trainees and hadn't been trained in the check-out process - so had to go to main reception to check-out missing breakfast altogether! The Tepanyaki restaurant is superb - so this hotel will always be my preferred stop-over hotel in Beijing. And staff are quite friendly, sometimes. July 27, 2013
