The hotel is generally ok because it is in Belem.
there are better hotels with better rooms for better value, but the staff and service at this hotel is the best I have had in Belem.

The rooms are very old and need urgent renovation to meet todays standard and to be worth the price.

The pool is a not a real pool but a plunge pool and not useful if you want to relax by the pool an afternoon, also because the outdoor area is extremely small.

Location is the best you can find in Belem.

Great Team

First of all, I need to say that I am a very talkative person and I do not like to spend my time in the room. So, when I was in the hotel I spent most of my time at the lobby and bar having a drink ant talking to the staff.
I have to say that they were absolutely fantastic. All of them.
I do not remember all the names, but here are some of the people I remember and their areas.
Marcelo, the reception manager, and the recepcionists Heber, Davison, Ge, Helen, This are the ones I talked the most. But all the others were very much friendly and corteous.
The bell boys,Felipe, Gabriel and Edhros. And the last I apologize if I did not spell correctly.
All the team from the restaurant and bar were seo friendly and at my request with the kitchen staff they were ready to make special meals for me.
I have to be honest and say that I stayed in more complete hotels around the world. But being a people's person and a teacher, for me above all is the feeling to be at home with a step family is the best. And the staff at the hotel took the role perfectly. I have to mention also the security team. Bruno, Ari and Glauber. Very nice indeed. They gave me a lot of tips about the city, and told me about places that a should be careful.
Another thing I noticed is the owner of the hotel. He was always around and very friendly with the guests. He seems to be a bit anxious though and that could put a bit of a strain upon the team. But apart from that I think I should say that my stay in Belém was much better because of all the staff at the Crowne Plaza Belém. and they should, each one of them, be congratulate for such professionalism, friendliness.
Please be known that, at any moment, they were to intimate or lack professionalism. They were just there for me and all the guests.
I would really appreciate if you could let them know that some guests really appreciate what they are doing. That would bring the best of them. And this will be translated in good reviews and consequently good revenue for your organization.
