What's New

Since April 2014 Berlin is proud to introduce BIKINI BERLIN which is one of the few still preserved contemporary witnesses of Berlin’s turbulent history during the post-war period of the 1950s. The basic concept of BIKINI BERLIN is a unique combination of shopping, working, cinema, recreation and urban oasis.

The Berliners' snack of choice is the Currywurst. This hot pork sausage is sliced and dressed with a ketchup-based sauce seasoned with curry powder and spices. Munch it with french fries or bread at street stands and diners scattered throughout the city.

Don't Go Home Without

Flexing your credit card at luxury department store KaDeWe, a 2-minute walk away. Head for the designer labels or the amazing food hall with 1,800 different cheeses and 1,000 types of sausage. Rest your feet at the top-floor winter garden's restaurant.

Must See

The Brandenburg Gate landmark, crowned with a bronze chariot drawn by 4 horses, reopened when the Berlin Wall fell in 1989. It has become a symbol of the unified city at leafy Unter den Linden, around 5km from Crowne Plaza Berlin City Centre-Nurnberger.

Must Do

Discover a different side to Berlin as you view key landmarks from the deck of a boat during an inner-city cruise. You'll pass beneath low canal bridges close to Potsdamer Platz and the Reichstag's huge glass dome as you navigate the many waterways.
