I highly recommend the Crown Plaza. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last few years and have always enjoyed the rooms and the great location.

bed was comfortable

When I made the reservation it was for a king bed. The room had 2 doubles. The WiFi was horrible I was able to use it. The best part was the 17th floor food and drinks for platinum level customers.

Dated and uncomfortable

This is such a dated property. The price is relatively low, but you get what you pay for. Room carpets have become worn and stained, sinks are chipped/cracked, furniture is scratched, etc. I learned in my first few stays to always request a room that does not have an adjoining door with the next room. Noise from the next room is always a problem here if there is a door between them. Worst of all is the blanket used on all of the beds--it is very weighty and heavily textured--very uncomfortable. The room service meal (filet mignon) was very good, however, and usually is. I have stayed here about 20 times over the past couple of years and the only reason for continuing to return has been the hotel's proximity to the airport and downtown. The location is no longer enough to make up for all of the negatives and I won't be back.
