Poor Quality Hotel

Poor quality hotel. Forced to stay here due to Delta Airlines not holding connecting flight so they put me up in this hotel.

Old decor, somewhat indifferent front desk staff, room decor from the 90's, burn marks in carpeting, hard-as-rock bed, assigned me to a room with two double-beds and I'm very tall, restaurant menu very limited and very expensive, poorly stocked convenience "store", bathroom not the best.

Hotel is used by Delta to overnight flight deck and cabin crew and it's surprising the crews find this hotel acceptable because it wasn't, at my room wasn't. Maybe Delta crews have better rooms but the overall quality of the hotel is poor.

The service in all areas was great. Perhaps our only criticism is that the mattresses in the room were "lopsided" - probably from overuse?

I did not have my priority club card with me at the stay and the desk attendant could not access my information and said his supervisor would do that later. I did not inquire if that was done and do not know if I was credited with the stay.

It was an enjoyable stay. Could not use the internet because it was too expensive to me. It should be free all the time. We did not get our complete set of towels until the last night. We needed 5 towels in the room and there were only 3.

When we got there the staff was very polite and friendly. They offered us a free room upgrade if we signed up for the IHG rewards program, which we did. I liked all the products they had in the room, there was a little spa kit and some nice lotion. The only small hitch in our stay was with the room service. On the bed they had a card that you could fill out with choices of breakfast for the next day that would be delivered to your room. We followed the instructions by filling it out and hanging it on our door. The next morning we waited and never got any food. I checked and the hanger was still on the door. So I called downstairs and they said they would have room service call us. By the time room service called us to take our order, we were about 20 minutes behind when we should have been eating, and we needed to start checking out soon. So I told room service we would just eat elsewhere. They were very nice about it. People make mistakes so I completely understood, but I thought that feature was such a great idea and a big convience to have breakfast delivered. But, we didn't get to try it.
