The hotel was beautiful, clean, with happy personnel, good food in the dining room and the MetroLink provided perfect access to downtown St. Louis. The Arch is a must. It was a 10 for me!

Reservation was made 4 days ahead..
Came all the way from Indiana to misourri when we check in the front desk said that air on in hotel is not working.. It's Easter so there's no available room in the area... There's. z 2 front desk ladies and told us that there's nothing they could do for us.. I reserved 7 rooms and there's 30 of us.. It's very rude to tell us that there's nothing they could do.. That we should just find another hotel. There's a Filipino guy in front desk he is very helpful, we told him whatever room they have we will take it as we have small children, babies and elderly traveling with us.... Even if there's no air conditioned we will take it because we traveled so far. And very tired..... Hotel were very nice and ambience is very relaxing,, however, we are not satisfied as there is no air conditioned the whole hotel.. We did not sleep bec. It's too hot.. And we're not happy with the 2 front desk ladies that is at the front desk.. Front desk manager did nag even make ny comment when we ask him if he could do something about it...

I stay at this hotel when I am in for business. Every experience has been excellent except for this time. Upon checking in, I was informed of the air conditioning outage and given an opportunity to cancel my stay with no cancellation fee. I was told it should be fixed in a day or so and would be provided a box fan for my comfort. Since it wasn't that hot, I opted to stay. I presented my Priority Club GOLD card, (at other places, I get recognized and thanked, NOT this time, # which they entered and when I asked about any kind of comp # ie., meal/drink coupons, points, etc.) I was told that they couldn't do that. ??REALLY?? They would rather send me somewhere else than comp me???? This was told to me by a person who I found out later could have authorized it. Other staff during my stay were nice and helpful. Upon checking out, I got another persons bill and got it corrected at the front desk. I explained what happened when I check-in and was told that I would recieve extra points for my inconvenience, of which I have not received.

We were going to St Louis for a wedding and wanted to stay somewhere that was reasonable. We drove there but opted to stay close to the airport because hotels were cheaper. We ended up at the Crowne Plaza and were so glad we did. It had been remodeled, everything was really nice. Somehow we ended up in a room with a balcony overlooking the atrium which was really nice- definitely request this if possible!

I stay at this particular Crowne 1-3 times a year. I have never had a complaint. If we have a problem it quickly resolved. The staff is always kind and helpful. I would always recommend this hotel to anyone, especially my friends.

The staff was awesome! Wonderful. They were polite and willing to please. However, the AC was out in the entire hotel, there were no parking spots available, and there was no luggage cart to get our belongings up to the room. Its a beautiful facility, but they need to fix these easily fixable things.

The room was very clean and very confortable, with a definitely rich feel. The only con was checking out at 4:30 am, I had to wait at the front desk for about 10 minutes before someone came out of the office and checked me out. He seemed a bit agitated.

Our stay was wonderful....except we were very disappointed to find out the hot tub is gone!! We always enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub when we stayed at this location. The website still shows the hot tub and needs to be updated.
The staff was great and went above and beyond to make our stay great. The bartender was friendly and fun!
We love the new décor! The Keurig machines in the rooms are a nice touch.

This is my second visit at this hotel. For being a platinum member, I did not get a free upgrade or even a good room location. There is a free snack lounge which is nice, and it's close to the airport. The gym and pool are nice.

When we arrived in our room we found the bathroom to be unclean/poorly cleaned. I called the front desk and they said to bring our luggage down and they would find us another room. We did not feel like carrying our luggage down and I suggested he send someone up to clean. About 10 minutes later there was a loud, fast knocking on the door. When I opened the door, the woman standing there glared at me and finally said "you have a problem with your room?" I showed her the uncleaned areas and she said she would clean it but she had a very bad attitude about it. She spent a couple minutes in the bathroom and left without a word and slammed the door behind her.
In the restaurant I saw several cleanliness issues while we were eating breakfast.
As we were leaving to go back to our room, we passed one of the staff on the stairs and my husband said good day to her as she looked very sad. Later she stopped him and thanked him because things had been so bad there lately she wasn't very happy.
These things tell me that the internal problems in this establishment are NOT good for business.
When we saw the rooms with the balconies overlooking the pool, I asked the desk clerk what the difference in price was and I was told it was the same as our room. I remarked it would be nice to stay in one of those rooms as the view was better than ours of the parking lot and rooftop of Home Depot. He looked surprised and asked if anyone had offered us the choice and I said no, he said they should have when we checked in.

This recently renovated property has an impressive array of amenities located in the hotel lobby. A heated indoor pool is located immediately adjacent to a TGI Friday's restaurant but, surprisingly, the noise level is well-managed and I did not find my dining experience disturbed by the close proximity of frolicking children. The lower level of the hotel also features a well-stocked breakfast buffet with low wait times and generally friendly table service. Arranged in an atrium style, I understood that the hotel was designed to keep amenities close at hand to the traveler but I never felt rushed or disturbed by the other guests enjoying their relaxation time either in the open pool, the adjacent restaurant, or in the enclosed fitness center. The open-air glass elevators are very quiet but do be prepared for a significant wait; only two elevators service eight floors and wait times during periods of significant usage are five minutes or more. It might be faster to take the stairs.
The business center provides two computers, both of which run Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6. These computers are not useful beyond printing a couple of pages of e-mail or opening a PDF. Do not expect these computers to entertain your children or open a substantial document or spreadsheet. The technology is too old to do any of this. Printing is complimentary but I found the front desk to be a little reluctant in handing out printer paper. The business center does provide a small four person conference table right next to the computers which I found useful.
The guest rooms are well organized with a specious bed and desk for workspace. I found the bathroom accommodating but the bath tubs were quite small. It's a great bathroom for a shower, less useful for a casual soak in the tub. Towels are plentiful and are refreshed daily. I had daily encounters with the housekeeping staff and found them to be personable, friendly, and willing to go above their duty to meet whatever needs I required. A call to the front desk for an extra pillow and towels had them at my door in about three minutes. Speedy service!
The thermostat in the room has two settings: oven and meat locker. I suggest using the windows if yours are not bolted shut but if you must use the thermostat, I suggest turning it off when you feel comfortable. Leaving the thermostat on after your desired comfort level will make you hot or cold quickly. These furnaces move air quickly.
I rate the bed comfortable, neither too hard or soft. A small arm chair and ottoman is also in the room and is very comfortable. The desk chair is ideally designed for keeping you focused on the task at hand and appropriate lighting -- both in the room and at the desk -- is provided. The ironing board does not squeak, a personal pet peeve of mine, although my room had a shocking lack of hangers for the closet.
With the very recent renovation, I'm not surprised that there are kinks to work out and the Crowne Plaza is on their way to doing a bang-up job. I rate this hotel as average, but given a couple of months for the dust to settle and a routine established, this hotel may be a stand-out property in the St. Louis area.

I have not been to this hotel for a while and when I walked in the renovations looked awesome. The new rooms were modern and the fitness center had tv's on all the cardio machines. I will definitely be back. Thanks to the friendly staff!

This hotel is still one of the few in St. Louis that offers stay and fly. It is clean, convenient and the hotel personnel are very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are flying out of St. Louis. Their shuttle service is very accommodating, too.

My husband and I needed to be at the airport around 4 a.m. for our flight, so we decided to try a "Park & Fly" with the Crowne Plaza. While our stay was vey brief, it worked perfectly for getting us to the airport so early. Our car was waiting for us on our return and the parking was included in the price of the room. All future trips will be done this way!

I stayed here on 1/16/13 the night before my early morning flight. I did the Park and Fly rate. I checked in and the front desk impression was good. I asked where I should park for the park and fly rate and was told at the west end of the building. I went to park my car and found a poorly lit parking lot that was pitch black. I am female and was traveling alone so this was not a good thing. It was also a short walk in the dark back to the front entrance. I did not feel safe at all. Also, when I made the reservation, I requested a lower level room close to the elevator as I was traveling alone. I was on the 6th floor, I think, and at the end of the hall away from the elevator. And, my room was next door to an "employee only' area where the door slammed a few times during my stay. I was disappointed in the bed as well. It was too firm for my taste. I would not stay here again due to the lack of security in the parking lot and lack of attention to my request. In their defense, I did not complain about my room location or the parking lot. I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. I always stay at the Renaissance and will return there next time.

Upon check in, I was upgraded to the Concierge Level which is on the 8th floor for being Platinum Elite. This included a free breakfast which was great because I didn't have to make a seperate stop before my flight. I enjoyed a short friendly conversation with a staff member that was cleaning the elevator.

This hotel was a great place to stay before we flew out of St. Louis. It was a great place to stay if you are going on a trip that requires you to park your car (FREE) for awhile.. They have a FREE shuttle to and from the airport.

My stay the Crowne Plaza was very comfortable. They provided excellent customer service. I am a professional musician (Angelo Sax Shaw), so I stay at hotels from time to time. I would definitely love to stay there again. The room was clean and the manager even had a refrigerator delivered to my room to protect my perishables. I highly recommend this hotel!

My family stayed at the Crowne Plaza over the holidays and the sheets on the beds were hard and the pillows were too soft. It is not easy to access the hotel, we only found one way to get to the hotel, it seems like you need to go out of your way to get there. Overall it was just an ok hotel.

I was very disappointed with my experience . The hotel being under construction with no prior warning when booking my room was a minor in convince. Having no heat in St. Louis in November was another thing all together and completely not except able. I was first warned by a construction worker about the heat problem and how long it had been going on while riding in the elevator going to my room. The make shift exercise room was a big disappointment
