Starting from the shuttle bus picking you up at the airport to taking you back to the aiport it's a pleasant experience staying at Crowne Plaza Brussels airport. It's the third time I visit that hotel, and each time it was an overall success. When I fly to Brussels I will always stay at that hotel. Hold on to that standard.

The hotel building is of outstanding design, easily accessible from the airport if the shuttle taxi/coach is running, although pick-up point is not clearly indicated inside the airport or labelled outside.

The friendly and efficiaent service of the staff is outstanding.

The wonderful views over the lake from the restaurant, meeting rooms and the bedrooms on that side of the hotel are sometimes marred by visual barriers, eg seasonal flashing lights at the water's edge. The musak in the lifts is disturbing and unneccessary in this otherwise wonderfully quiet hotel, perfectly soundproofed to exclude outside noise

Poor nights sleep

Due to wind noise and also banging noises from the wind in ventilation pipes I did not sleep well for 2 nights.
- I would choose lower floors in future - I was on 4.
