I enjoyed my stay here and will stay here again, I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends. The staff was awesome!!!

Booking in at reception was awful. There was no Priority Club check in. The desk was there but nobody manning it. I was firstly allotted room 305 and my wife and I duly went there but the key would not open the door so I returned to the Reception Desk. I was then given room 297 but that was still being cleaned so I had to return to Reception once again where I was allotted room 305 again. This room was very noisy, not from aircraft noise, which we might expect, but it was virtually on the Freeway, double glazing would have helped. The hotel knew it was noisy as they left one set (double room?) of earplugs on the bedside table. In addition it overlooked the dumpsters and delivery area for the hotel (which we would ignore in other circumstances).
We were on a 21 day Fly Drive Holiday in USA and this hotel was the worst we stayed in on the whole visit. All of the hotels we would both recommend, but not this one. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in and the only one we stayed in with no in room fridge, where local calls were charged, no free wifi in room and no guest laundry. Most worryingly, no fire escape route on back of door. We would rather stay at the Holiday Inn Express down the road again than stay at this Crowne Plaza.
Not all the hotel was bad. The restaurant and bar staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful.
We are sure you can check our records and where we have stayed in your hotels in UK and USA. We are not moaners, but on this occasion we feel let down. We note there was a change of ownership notice on the front door - is this significant?

we called the front desk 4 times to get the shuttle -after 45 minutes the shuttle showed up.
The room was outdated and worn.
I will not stay at this property ever again.

After a 5 hour flight to SFO airport, I hoped on the Crowne hotel shuttle. At the hotel i went to the front desk to check in and thought so far so good. The lobby didn't look like anything speciacl but it was clean. I was given Room number 601 which i thought would be a good room because i personally dont like rooms on the 1ST floor of any hotel. When I opend the door and walked into room 601 I noticed on the bed a pair of bright orange ear plugs on the bed. At first i didn't pay them any mind but thoought it was odd. I droped my bags and left to handle some bussiness. When i returned later that evening, very tired and ready for some good sleep. I found out why the hotel provided ear plugs for that room. 601 is on the cornner of the hotel next too the freeway. You can hear every car that drives past. Needless to say I didn't get any rest and was flying out the the next morning. When the front desk cleark asked me how did i enjoy my stay. i told him i was not happy at all and he offerd me a free breakfast. I told him no thanks and couldn't wait to get out of that hotel. A bad nights sleep can make for a very long and unhappy day.

The staff at the restaurant was less then helpful. I was asked if I wanted a refill on my drink, I stated yes. They took my glass and never returned. I had to approach the bar area to pay my bill, table service was very limited.

Very convenient to airport, complimentary shuttle is a plus. Also, the restaurant was nice and clean. We did not hear any air traffic which surprised us. However, we stayed on the Club floor and there was nothing available to us other than a bowl of fruit and a dispenser of water. Very disappointing when comparing to other Club Floors at compatible hotels.

I asked for a non smoking room and still smelled like somebody had just smoked.
The pillows seemed old and extremely soft.
The person that cleaned the room was already cleaning before I had checked out and had to take off until she was finished.

the staff was very unprofessional in dealing with customers for a hospitality business. The mail staff at the front desk has a very disrespectful attitude towards female customers.

My room entry door was jammed and needs extra force to pull it closed. Most of the inside equipment needs the same attention from the management team.

This particular Crowne Plaza is a bit odd. The rooms are rather worn and you feel more like you are at a budget motel, than a nice hotel. I was "upgraded" to an executive floor due to my Priority Club Status, but the room was no different and the executive lounge was merely a room with a TV and a communal refrigerator. Bizarre!!!!

I fly in and out of SFO twice a year and find it very convenient and lovely hotel. The restaurant is quite nice and the breakfast being included is a real bonus.

Even though we had issues at this hotel, I would still recommend it but watch out for the ladies behind the counter. I am not sure of their names as I was too upset to notice. They were not courtesy and very abrupt. When we were finally given our room, upon opening the door, the key card wouldn't work. Thankfully we were with friends and left our baggage in their room. I phoned the lobby to see if someone could bring a key up to us and the response I received was "I can't, as I am all alone and it is not my problem to correct." Then whose problem was it. She was the one that gave me the key. So I went to the lobby, under protest, and there were four other customers whose keys did not work either, and she was a little irate with all of us. So, hopefully when you go, the ladies that were there either aren't there or are in a better mood. For the price we paid I wouldn't definitely would go back. We booked the reservations online and received a "full" buffet breakfast...it was Delicious!

We checked in late and the Staff at Front Desk was Great. They checked the group in very quickly and we were off to our room. Slept Great and off the Breakfast Buffet. The Service was Excellent and Food was Fresh, Hot and plenty of items to choose. Great Job Burlingame. We will see you again

Had originally booked at another airport hotel, but photos were too grim.
Room was clean, amenities fine, room small, but its an airport hotel.
Shuttle service ran on time, every 30 minutes, but morning run was packed and we still went to next hotel to pick up more prople. No sign-up service for shuttle makes forecasting tough.
10 minutes from airport, next to park and path to walk along water. Decent enough restaurant.

Arriving at hotel was a joke. There is very little room to off load your luggage when checking in. I had to pay/park/ just to see if my room was ready... it was not, so I wasted more money on parking. Parking is $18.00 a day, which is a joke because this hotel is actually south of the Frisco airport.
Hotel was clean and neat, but rooms were tiny. I could not get the luggage cart into the room it was so small. We had to unload cart in hallway and come in door with each bag.
Service in cafe was very poor. Meal descriptions didn't match what was served. Servers brought out toast at breakfast 15 minutes before the meal arrived. Thought this was weird, and perhaps an aberration, but the same service happened the next day.There was one Asian waitress that served us and she was very pleasant.
Will not stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here and our only worry was the traffic to the downtown SF areas due to appointments. Both days, Friday and Saturday it took us about 30 minutes to reach the Presidio area, even with the extreme SF traffic. We had planned on delays so we made the best of it by leaving early each day.
Overall the hotel worked best for us, especially since we had a 0600 flight out on Sunday. We turned the rental car back in Saturday night and used the Shuttle to complete our movements to the hotel and then the airport the following morning. Worked for us.

I wish all hotels could meet the high standards set by this property. The facility is clean, modern and classy. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The shuttle service to and from the SFO airport is convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is absolutely fresh and delicious. I ate there three times during a one night stay. Finally, the room rate is very reasonable all things considered. I have stayed in San Francisco, LA and New York for 3-4 times the room rate and not gotten anywhere near this experience.

The hotel is close to the airport however room cleanliness was a big issue. The carpet in the room had obviously not been vacuumed for at least the last two guests, it was littered with small bits of crumbs and dirt that you could feel when you walked on it with no shoes on. The rest of the room and bathroom was totally fine. I called reception and asked to speak to the manger, they said that the manger was not on duty. I told them the problem; they offered to move me to a different room. I had already unpacked and asked them just to get someone to come up and vacuum the carpet. They sent some guy up who asked me what the problem was and I said that I had already told reception and that the carpet heeded vacuuming as it was dirty. He looked totally out of his depth and said that this was house keepings job and they were no longer available and he had no vacuum. I gave up at this point. Very poor service overall.

I would like to commend the housekeeping staff for keeping the room tidy and for the clean sheets. However I could hear the planes flying overhead which kept me from sleeping well.
The Restaurant provided a wonderful selection of
entree and the wait staff were attentive.
The front desk was professional and courteous.
The main critique I would have is that the hotel charged me 18,00 a night for parking and I did not even have a car there.
This was quickly resolved by the front desk clerk.

Upon arriving to my room, I immediately found it was excessively hot since the air conditioning was off and the windows were permanently sealed to prevent opening to induce a breeze. Additionally the room smelt like sewage might have been seeping up the drains since the room smelt like a sewer.
The entire hotel is so close to the freeway and is obviously poorly insulated from such noise that getting a quiet sleep would be impossible without earplugs.
During breakfast, there was a spanish speaking server that was incredibly loud as he literally attempted to talk as loud as possible in his foreign language to another waiter. He never stopped as it seemed he was upset with something. I ate the dried out buffet eggs as quickly as possible and quickly departed as soon as possible.
Durring check out, the front desk staff carried on like the customer was there last interest and I was able to stand there directly in front of them for some period of time before they stopped talking about some cab outside. I was left to feel as I was their problem.
I was delighted to leave this property and will do everything in my effort to ensure my company never books me or the thousands of other employees of ours.

Room was great, freeway was only slightly noticeable. Elevator location and signs are a little tricky if it's your first time. Breakfast was way overpriced for what you get, but where else are going to go. There is a person who works there who rides a motorcycle with EXTREMELY loud exhaust, I only know this because he left right about the time I fell asleep! The people at the front desk or the rewards system is flawed, I signed up a couple of weeks before (previous stay) and I could not be found in the system on this stay, plus I had to stand there for 10 minutes while they "looked me up".

Quite expensive parking, if possible use free shuttle to airporl, brulingame shuttle to local town and public transportation (caltrain/bart).

Desk persons who checked us in and out and the morning dining room staff couldn't have been more friendly and efficient. As we arrived in the late evening and our visit was short, this was very appreciated. We will stay here again.

I found the staff at this hotel to be some of the best I have encountered in my recent travel. The quiet zone was another redeeming quality in this overpriced, over starred property. The shower curtain had dark hairs on it, air conditioner controls broken and room dated.
