This property was a disappointment on every level. Peeling wallpaper, heating system not working, dirty rooms and hallways. Definitely not worth the money. The room across the hall left their room service dishes outside their door & the dishes sat there for almost 2 days!! The staff was nice in the bar and front desk, but the niceness can't make up for the fact that the property is a dump. The front desk said they were scheduled for a renovation........big deal! The toilet and heating system was broken in my daughters room. The whole stay was awful.

The staff and service provided were excellent. The hotel need some updating. However, the staff informed me that the hotel was due for a makeover. Once that occurs this will be one of the best hotels in the area.

Crowne Plaza-Cherry Hill was nice, a little pricey, room was comfortable, staff were great, restaurant staff were REALLY great...would've been nice to have a mini-fridge.

Although my boys and I came for the wild Monster Mania horror convention, we had a wonderful time.....nights were kind of loud, but that was to be expected....Beds were comfortabe, food was good, and staff was wonderful.....you'll probably see us next year....and the kids miss room service......

I have stayed at this hotel several time snow and have never had any problems with the room or the staff. They are always very friendly and the rooms are clean. They come with a new flat screen tv radio in the room and cable tv with optional movies you can buy. If I had any cons it would be lack of parking space but then again I only go there during a convention so that's to be expected. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area who needs a hotel.

If I was not attending an event at this hotel, I would not stay. We paid for a club level room, and did not get one, we also paid extra for a roll away bed, that was NOT in our room. I called down and requested it, again, and, it still was not brought up. That night, I went down and told the desk I would get the roll away bed myself. They did give us coupons for a discount on a meal at the Embers and 2 free breakfast. We went to get our "free" breakfast and it cost $30!! we had to pay full price for one and upgrade the two "free". I was told that the club level is only open during the weekd, so, why did they not tell me this when made my reservation? The desk clerk had an attitude and, not just one, I talked with three clerks over the weekend, and, they all had an attitude. When I'm staying at a hotel I don't want to be talked down at or treated like some out of town hick. Then when I question the price I was told that I am allready getting a good price and the regular price is much more.

The room & bathroom were not particularily clean The water stopper in the bathroom was not working, therefore no bath. Hot & cold was reversed. When the shower was on there was a loud noise that sounded like a fire alarm. I didn't know if I should run out of the shower.

we calld to the front desk to arrange for a cab. we were told one would be called. we got to the lobby & no cab was there or had been called. we waited another 45 minutes for a cab which never came or was called by the hotel. we were late for our function. if the hotel has a service to call a cab for their guests, then they should do so. very unhappy with this hotel & will not stay here again.

Although we had wonderful new rooms overlooking Philadelphia, this room 1033 had terrible stains on the carpet and looked a little worn, unlike the other rooms we previously stayed. Also there was no hair dryer in the room. When visiting relatives it is very convenient but I believe we may try the Holiday Inn Express next time.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza while attending the "Be the Best You Are" baseball clinic. I made reservation for myself and 3 other coaches on my staff 2 months in advance. The person I talked to when I made the reservation told me that there were two twin bed rooms beside one another.
When I got to the hotel the receptionist told me that they only had queen beds rooms left but they could send a cot up for the other person to sleep on.
This is not what I reserved or what I wanted. When I got into the "Seinfeld" debate with her about the purpose of a reservation she acted aloof and said that was all they had available.
There was no compensation for me taking a room that I did not reserve which was disappointing as well.
The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. I just wish that I could have recieved the rooms that I reserved.

I booked a room months in advance for two beds so my friend and I could enjoy a nice relaxing weekend and get some comfort while attending the baseball clinic. We received confirmation that our request for two beds was granted. When we got down for our stay we got stuck in a one bedroom handi-capped room. When we called for a cot there was none left.

I travel to the Philadelphia area 2-3x a month and stay at this location quite often. While I rarely use the restaurant, the front desk staff has always been friendly and Tim (in the Priority Club Lounge) is consistently outstanding.
The rooms are nice, but could stand a little refresh. Also, the fitness equipment is substandard for the chain and the location. I typically end up visiting Planet Fitness a couple of miles away.
The biggest drawback to the hotel is the inconsistency of the room HVAC systems. Most rooms are ok, but on the loud side. Even when the system is off, there is a consistent fan/wind noise coming from the system -- and this has been in every room I've stayed in (I'm typically on or above the 10th floor). However, every once an awhile I get a room where the system just can't keep up -- either being too cool in the winter or too hot in the summer -- this has happened 2-3 times out of about 30 stays).
The biggest upside is value... As long as you don't get a clunker HVAC room, from a value standpoint this location can't be beat. It is consistently much less expensive than anything comparable in Center City Philly (typically 30-50% less, but sometimes hundreds of dollars a night when there is a major event in Philly).

I stay at this hotel for an annual trip to NJ. I always look forward to staying at the Crowne Plaza and this trip was no different. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and all my needs were met at an affordable price. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers to the Cherry Hill area.

Just like my first visit/stay at this property, this one was wonderful. I am always greeted by courteous and friendly staff who go out of their way to accomodate you. I have used the facility for busines and pleasure trips. On the night of my arrival (most recent trip), I heard at least two people complain that the food was not to their liking--I have never had this experience--and the cost of the meals was subtracted from their bills with no argument. I have, and will continue to encourage others to stay at The Crowne Plaza.

I stayed here for the first time with this property and this chain to attend a wedding ceremony. I decided to stay at this property because it was the groom's suggested room block. When we arrived, the first impression I received was of a young lady with pink hair, cut in a punk style (shaven on one side) assisting another guest. Upon our arrival, there was another woman at the front desk who disappeared in the back for what appeared to be several minutes before returning to assist us. Our greeting was less than inviting and when we arrived to our room as soon as you opened the door you were greeted by a huge iron stain burn on the carpet and a room that was outdated (to us). When I called downstairs to the front desk to inform them of the burn (I was concerned that they would believe we did it) the response was very nonchalant. We were not even offered to change rooms. We did not make a big deal about it because we were only there for one night anyway. Ironically, when we went to the wedding we were seated at the same table as a guest who also checked into this hotel and the same room, but because they were staying more than one night, they chose to move. This was a very disappointing experience as this was one of the first time I chose to stay at a property outside of my normal choice. I will not do this again.

There were two wedding parties residing in the hotel. There were two wedding tents set up outside in the parking lot. By 9 PM I could not deal with the blaring music coming from the parking lot and the loud commotion in the hallway by the party guests.
Also, for other reasons the hotel seemed to be at maximum capacity. The lobby area looked and sounded like a casino floor. Big crowd and lots of noise. I checked out of the hotel by 10PM that night. I did not ask for a refund. To much commotion and noise for me.

We attended for a regatta located across teh street in Cooper Park. But, the mattress was in need of replacing and made for a poor night's sleep. It was extremely soft and had a "ditch" in the middle, making it difficult to sleep. Also....the Keurigs are great, but they only gave a us decaf......definately needed the caffeine after the sleepless night. The price of the room, was a bit steep for the quality of the room.
