Becoming less and less attractive

The hotel is nicer than most hotels, but the little things are becoming more and more frustrating. I stayed in a room that I have stayed in previously, and the water pressure in this room is terrible. The pressure will pump and pressure in the shower becomes non existent when turned towards the hot water. At it's lowest, the pressure only allows for a trickle out of the shower head.

Room keys are also becoming a point of frustration at this hotel. I stay here every week, and I always have to get my card reprogrammed. When I get back from work and go up to the 12th floor, the last thing I want to do is come back down. I've been told in the past that I was having a problem because I put the key next to my credit card, and I've since changed that. The problem still persists.

I called customer service because I was not awarded points for this stay. The agent regurgitated what was on the screen and did not bother to investigate the problem. First, I was told it was because I didn't pay for my stay. My credit card statement tells me otherwise. Then I was told it was because of the "deeply discounted rate" that I received. I informed the agent that I booked the stay as I do every other week and that I booked the rate that the hotel advertised. He continued to repeat "deeply discounted stay" every time I tried to understand what was different about this stay.

I stay in hotels often and I understand personnel working to learn systems and occasional facility issues, but the customer service agent really irritated me. Clearly, I'm calling because I have an issue that concerns me enough to spend my time on the phone with you. Please take the time to logically look at the problem and hear what I am telling you. Otherwise, I will spend my time and money with another provider. I stay further away from my job site to maintain loyalty to your brand, but I'm not married to your brand.

My party was given 2 different lunch menus. When one member ordered a soup, she was told that she was ordering from an old menu. No updated menu was provided for her, but she was able to view my menu. The outdated menu was the one posted outside the restaurant. After being informed of the inconsistency, still no one changed the outside menu. Shame, because the outdated menu had a much nicer selection!

Overall, hotel was very nice. Executive level lounge has limited offering. Unlike other Crown Plaza hotels I have stayed at, this one did not have complimentary wine or beer in the executive lounge.

Beer and wine is also available in the executive lounge other nights, however, it is not complimentary. During the holidays, the executive lounge will not have any food or beverages available but we will return to our normal operating schedule in January of 2015.
