Elevators

I have attended every Wilmington Winter Bluegrass Festival held at the location. This year I made reservations months in advance and confirmed them a few days before my stay. I had a queasy feeling when the desk clerk took over 10 minutes to get my room but thought I lucked out when I got a room right near the elevator. My mistake! Apparently soundproofing was not one of the items included in recent renovations. It was the worst room I have ever stayed in (excepting some 3rd world countries)

Bluegrass weekend

Stayed at this hotel in the past and dining was never a problem, however this time there was a limited dinner menu available and it was not to my liking. Also the next morning at breakfast, table was never set (had to get our own flatware etc) . Tables all around were not cleaned in a timely manner. I understand it was probably a larger crowd than normal, however staff should have been increased.
