After an exhausting and stressful day we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We had late arrival (12:15 am), which was later than even we had expected. Our room was awaiting us without a glitch. The following morning we were able to rest, check out, and still have plenty of time to have a delicious breakfast at the resturant located off the lobby. Thanks for a great stay!

Great service -- very accommodating at the front desk!! Beds were hard to get out of -- so comfortable. Great night sleep. Showers were a little noisy (pipes), but good pressure. Shampoo, soap & lotion were nice. Clean -- like the wood floors.

Large comfortable rooms with nice amenities (large screen TV, fridge, coffee maker). Excellent fitness center and pool. Easy parking. The breakfast buffet was great with chef made waffles and omelets. Close to downtown and midtown activities. Very clean and a first rate staff. Highly recommended.

We like the Crowne Plaza a lot and tend to stay there whenever we visit our dauhter at WUSTL. Last time we checked in early, around noon, and the desk staff found us a very nice room that was ready.
However, the TVs attached to the treadmills in the fitness room badly need upgrading -- reception was so poor as to be unwatchable.
When I went to the pool, I asked at the desk if there would be towels there and was told that there would be. When I got there, however, there were none. It is a long walk back to the desk (elevators were not woking) and the staff should have checked before the pool opened that there were towels.

i love the shuttle service. they will pick u up from the airport and take you to your meetings. don't forget to tip. staff is very courteous.
high recognition for PCR member! I am a plat and I love my welcome kit "to tide you through the night" -- chocs, chex mix and a bottle of water. also a welcome drink at the bar. also there is a PCR exec lounge which is nice.
I like the newly refreshed bed sheets and marble baths. the restaurant food is awful but does the job of feeding the hungry and is reasonably priced.
highly recommend. the 6th floor in the priority club wing is nice with high ceilings. they also have rooms with a heart shaped jacuzzi tub!!!

Stayed twice in one week, two different rooms, both great, rooms are large and freshly redone. Great breakfast options, free parking, check in was super efficient. I was stranded for a day due to the winter storm and was really glad to be staying at the Crowne.

I have never stayed at this Crowne Plaza and chose it for the location to serve my purposes. It was very reasonably priced, service was great and my room was excellent, large bath with a tub and separate shower. I will definitely stay here again. I hope this review will help someone else as other's reviews helped me to select your hotel. Great place to stay, Thank-you.

My husband and I rented the Honeymoon suite not because it was our honeymoon, but because we like to stay in upscale suites when we travel. It was not a suite. It was one room that was in desperate need of updates/upgrades. The heat/cooling systems was tempermental and the noise from the street certainly interupted our sleep a number of times. The valet service was the best part of our stay. The valet was at our service and even warmed up our vehicle and had it waiting for us when we left for our show at the Fox Theater. The location is nice, but I was not impressed that when we self parked overnight (the valet was closed when we returned) that we were charged $20.00 for parking. That was a surprise on our credit card bill.

Our Room #417 was well kept by Ceara (?).
We experienced good old mid west hospitality.

All the staff tried hard to make our welcome a pleasant one, and so we'd certainly want to stay there again, since it's so close to Forest Park.
We only wish that we did not have to have Fox News on the TV in the lounge, that was disturbing to have such hate-filled dis-information running. We requested it be changed, but it did not, nor did the restaurant manager explain to us why not. Seems that just switching to a simple entertainment channel would have been possible.

Morning breakfast on Priority Club level is excellent with great service from the GM. Hotel is clean with friendly people. Do not like the hardwood floors, but I suppose it's better than dirty carpet!
I would recommend to anyone in the Clayton area

I arrived on a Tuesday evening - was waited on promptly and the customer service experience was positive. The breakfast was fantastic, far above the average continental breakfast - plenty of fresh hot food and good service.
There were a few things that the hotel could improve on...the bedside tables were dusty, especially the one that held the phone. The drinking glasses were spotted and looked as if they had not been washed thoroughly so I did not use them. There was no ice container in the room so I had to use a paper cup for an ice container.
Overall, the stay was good but as noted, the housekeeping issues could stand some improvement.

This was my 3rd visit to this property. Grady, the bellman was most welcoming and helpful. April helped me find places to eat and the mall. I was greated at a priority club member and enjoyed the evening get together.
This is a lovely hotel, with a great, helpful staff.

Excellent for our stay during my daughter's wedding. All the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Our rooms were lovely and the lobby was absolutely perfect for family pictures. The breakfast was superb.

I stay at this property most every Wed night. The property is clean, the front desk personnel are very personable, and the restaruant/concierege/managers are true professionals. They are truly dedicated to their jobs. If you have stayed there at all, you may have had the pleasure of meeting "Pete" in the restaurant. He is the owner and I have seen him as early as 6:30 am in the restaurant meeting and talking to guests. That says alot about this propery when the owner is there that early checking with guests to see if their stay was great. In the mornings, Will makes a killer omlette and Peggy is a GREAT server. When she sees me walk in, she always has my drink at my table before I an ever tell her good morning. I would recommned this property to anyone who is in the STL area. You won't be disappointed!!

This Hotel in in a great location if you want to get out for a walk. Plenty of choices for food if you feel leaving. If you stay they have the grill right on the property with great food for any meal from morning till night. The staff is awsome from the manager Steven and Dorris , wil the cook and mary the server.

I am partial to Crown Plaza hotels when I travel, and, this one did not disappoint. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. They provide excellent service, and make you feel at home with a warm welcome every time you return to the hotel! This Crown Plaza will be my #1 choice any time I visit St. Louis.

the staff we met were polite.cortious,and profesional.The rooms were small,cold, and not at all as pictured at booking. I checked in at the front desk,recieved little instruction,and went to spend the evening with family. After returning, late in evening,and parking our auto,we went to the door we were instructed to use to find it locked, and our room key would not work as it was suposed to. luckly I had a cell phone, called front desk and wait in the freezing weather for him to come from the desk to let us in. Arriving at the room discovered it to be cold,with cold hard floors,and a bath the size of a small closet. Not at all as pictured! Would not have stayed had I looked at the room earler. WE were also charged aditional fees at check in "were told for incidentals and would be refunded" if no aditional services.

Overall, I think this property is a good value. The location is convenient and away from downtown. The neighborhood feels safe. I was upgraded to a suite which was nice. The one downside was the construction that starts at 7 AM. I was not aware of this (nor was I told by the front desk). I would have requested a room in the "quiet zone" had I known.

As per the title, this was one of the best hotel experiences that I've had in years. I travel frequently and am an Ambassador Club member. The staff at this hotel was amazingly accommodating for my family. We were able to get an upgrade to a 2 room suite in the older of their two towers. The elevators were the only thing that showed noticeable age, but they worked fine. The staff provided breakfast buffet passes, water bottles, and made special arrangements for our vehicle with a rooftop carrier. They were also exceptionally courteous and asked multiple times if we needed any type of assistance.
The kids loved the free arcade and we saw other families enjoying the indoor/outdoor pool. There was also a Starbucks within walking distance to help support our morning coffee habits.
The next time we have a reason to be in Saint Louis, we will surely stay here.

The check in process was quick and very helpful. The check in attendant went above and beyond. He followed up to make sure the rooms were to our standards and recommendations. The rooms were comfortable and exceptional. Being a priority club member I am used to welcome packages but at this hotel they only give it to platinum members. Other than that,it was an outstanding experience.

The hotel is old and dated. Many of the furniture and fixtures appeared to have been WELL USED. Not at all what I was expecting from a Crown Plaza.
The room really needed a good vacuuming. There were bits of a opened plastic bag (of some sort) around the couch and the carpet had bits of something (not to sure what) still loose on the top.
I was not at all pleased, but as I was there with a guest, I did not wish to make a issue.
The light switch for the bathroom as on the OUTSIDE in the bedroom. Not at all conducive for using the facility when the bedroom as dark.
Add to this it was 9:15am and the house keeping was knocking on the door asking to clean the room. Don't they usually wait until after checkout time at least?
