Upon entering the hotel the warm and inviting main floor convinced me that I was going to have an enjoyable stay. I was wrong. The key to the door took three tries to initially work. I originally thought this might be a fluke; however, one of my keys lost its memory and I had to get it reprogrammed at the front desk. Once again three tries before it would work.
I ordered adjoining rooms. While the room technically were adjoining, There was a chair and a lamp place in front of the adjoining door (in both rooms). The lock was difficult to open. There was no handle to open the door. Fortunately, I was able to open the door in my room as I had to kick open the door into the second room.
Maintenance needed to be called to repair the shower and drain in one room and the toilet in the other.
The matrasses were lumpy. The sheets were "rough" textured. The older air conditioner in one of the rooms had no temperature control. It was either on and freezing or off and uncomfortable.
The breakfast buffet was good; however, I was a little taken aback when I was charged for it on the third day of my stay (Monday). Apparently, breakfast is only complementary on the weekends. It would have been nice to inform the guests of this.
Taken as a whole I have had better stays in hotel costing half the price

As a member of the rewards club why did I not receive any points. This was one of the reasons why I stayed at Crowne.
